summary: autumn finds out about prom night

autumn was hoping for this managers meeting to end. she felt publicly humiliated as mia. told everyone there about how she scribbled "mrs autumn killerman"all over her diary with love hearts. she didn't even have a crush on him she had a crush on the younger one kyle. as she her back her tears mia said something.

"it wasn't me that didn't want you two to be close. it was daddy dearest" mia said with a obvious on her face

"oh my god." autumn said she felt sick to her stomach. all this time she thought it was reece and mia but it actually her father. as she tried to hold back her tears as everyones eyes were on her she just couldn't. before she could think she just stormed out the room. as she wiped the tears off her eyes she could feel someone behind her she turned around to see her father holding his jaw. reece had probably punched him.

"mutton chops don't you dare do anything to my car."

she went to the boot of her car and grabbed her bat and walked over to her dads car. breaking the windows and listening to the alarm go off. she didn't care. she could feel her fathers presence behind her telling her to stop as reece kicked him hard to the floor. as the glass shattered she could feel the glass scraping her hands and blood dripping down. as she battered the car even more. as she felt someone behind her she turned around to see reece behind her

"aut look im sorry for keeping this a secret. please don't cry."

she didn't say anything for a while. she just looked at him

"i'm going to deal with father. don't do anything that could hurt you."

as reece walked off she carried on smashing the car until her bat and hands were covered in blood. she desperately wanted winter next to her.

winters pov

since we had food poisoning I wasnt supposed to be at work but since autumn had a managers meeting she went in anyway. as I lied on bed feeling horrible I got a call from marjorie

"hello marjorie. is there something I could help you with?"

"I can't say to much right now but autumn needs you."

"ill be right there thank you marjorie."

as I stumbled out of bed and got my keys I rushed into my car and drove to the nursery. as I got inside saw sorscha

"sorscha where's my sweet?" I said trying to hold in my puke

"she's in the car park turning her dads car into a scrap." sorscha said

as I covered my mouth and mumbled

'thats my girl" I managed to say before going to the bathroom to puke before I went out to autumn.

when I got there I saw her beating her dads car while he layed on the floor and reece with an icepack on his knuckles

I could see her fingers with blood on them form the glass and her smashing up her dads car.

'my sweet. its me."

she ran over to me dropping her bat and pulling me in for a hug. she didn't like to show affection in public but she needed it.

"winter I want to go home."

"okay my sweet lets go."

she went to get her bat and we went home.
the car ride was completely silent. not an comfortable silent like an suffocating silence. an silence that feels like it's eating you alive. i looked over at autumn to see tears running down her face. i had never seen her cry before i reached out my hand and put it on her thigh

"it's going to be okay." he said while giving her a small kiss on her wet cheek.

"thank you winter. thank you for coming today. I needed you.
