Teenage love ~AR23~

Part 15

It's the morning of the World Cup final, the day you've dreamed of since you were a child. It's finally here. You've been awake for a while unable to sleep, it's around 8 and less starts stirring.

"Morning baby" you say as alessia rolls over to face you

"Morning are you excited" she says as she cuddles into you

"Yeah but I'm trying not to get too excited I need to focus on the game"

Then there's a knock at the door and they come in after you telling them to. It's sarina, what could sarina want.

You quickly move away from less.

"Hey girls I just came to ask about you playing this match"

"Yeah I should be able to play" you say

"I wanted to play you in the second half but if it goes to extra time would you be alright playing the extra half an hour"

"Yeah I should be alright the doctor says if needs be I can play longer but not every time so it's up to you when I play"

Sarina leaves and you and less get up and get ready then head down to breakfast.

"Morning Lauren" you say as you walk up behind her making her jump "did I scare you"

"Yeah you did how you feeling" she asks as she hugs you

"I'm feeling alright sarina said I'll probably be playing the second half"

"That's good come on get some food" Lauren says as she walks over to the food with you.

We then eat and talk some more. After a few hours chilling and a meeting then it's time to get in the coach.

"Ready for this gorgeous" less asks as the coach pulls up to the stadium.

"More than ready" you say as you stand up and make your way off the coach and into the changing rooms.

You pretty much immediately put your kit on which you've always done since you started playing. Less is the complete opposite to you. You walk over to her and rest your head on her shoulder, just taking in every single second of it. The nerves creep back up to you as you step out to warm up.

It's about 15 minutes into the warm up, and a chant about you not starting starts circulating around the stadium. Less runs over to you after seeing it's affecting you.

"Hey baby they don't know why your not starting alright just block them out, it's showing you how good you are I love you" she says putting a comforting arm round you as you both walk back to the changing rooms.

"I love you more lessi" you say as you kiss her then walk into the changing rooms where the music is already playing.

After around 15 minutes sarina comes in to do a pep talk for the team.

"So girls all of our hard work over the past year and mainly in the the past month has led up to this moment. The final where it matters the most. One mistake and we've lost. I need you girls to put everything on the line today. I know you have what it takes to beat this Spain team. Just be physical and do what you did in training. I'm right behind you." She says before an applause circles around the changing room.

Then it was time we were called to the tunnel. You kiss less then head to the subs bench awaiting the teams to walk out. The ceremony was amazing before the anthems. It was kick off. Everything lead up to this moment.

It was a pretty even match. Very physical. Less was tackled a few times in the opening 10 minutes as the Spanish struggled to defend her which was a good sign for us that less would be able to break through the defence. We had so many chances that we should've have put away but the keeper either making an excellent save or us being just off target.
