"The wicked sorcerer was very angry." Seo Saehyun said to the youngsters who were listening with wide eyes, the pictures and scenes, vividly playing in their minds.

" He pointed a finger at King Wang," His long hands raised. Four fingers curled in, leaving the pointer towards the youngest of the children. "and said, 'You will all suffer'." He mimicked the voice as the children scooted closer together. Some had shut their eyes in an adorable attempt to minimize their fear.

"Everyone was scared. Mirel started chanting the spells. Cursing them. And said—"

"And said, 'Stop scaring children'." The storyteller stopped at hearing the delicate voice of Lady Wolha.

The woman entered the room, her long attire trailing behind her, followed by two maids.

Saehyun bowed deeply, lowering his torso. "My Lady. I can tell them a different tale if you would like." He offered.

"Mama." The woman turned to her sweet son.

"Oh! My darling." She smiled as the toddler strolled towards her.

"What is a sweet cherry pie doing here? hmm?" She bent down and picked up the baby who raised his arms.

"Oh! You're heavy. Gods! You're going to weigh much more than me soon." She gasped in fake disbelief, earning a playful giggle from the toddler.

"Is baby bunny lost?" She teased. "Did bunny leave his forest to come live with us?" The boy smiled lovingly up to her, resting his head on her shoulder.

The lady's lips curved up at her son's adorable behavior. She gave a quick peck to his nose, her hair tickling him, making him sneeze.

He yawned, large doe eyes starting to drop.

His mother handed him over to her first made. "Take him to the nursery."

The maid left, cradling the drooling toddler at her hip. She watched them till they took a turn to a passageway, where her sight could no longer follow.

"Well, that's it for today!" The storyteller announced to the disappointed youngsters.
"Go on you brats. Leave."

The lady smiled as she bent down before the eldest of the children, coming into his peripheral line of vision.
"I hope you aren't upset with me for destroying your storytime. I will tell him to continue it tomorrow for sure." She gently told the child who stared at her with curious eyes.

He nodded his head up and down several times, unable to form words. Of course, he was not angry with her. Their Lady was as gorgeous as those goddesses he'd seen painted in books. How could anyone be angry with such beauty?

Lady Wolha smiled at him and the boy gasped, visibly flustered.
"Off you go then." She raised to her full height as the children sped out of the room, trying to outrun each other.

"Beautiful tale you were telling. Even though it was a bit scary."

Saehyun turned to his warden's wife. "It was a very old one, My Lady. I barely saw it in a book in my youth." He replied ever so humbly.

"How was my son?" She questioned.

"How he is every day, My Lady. He was a precious little ray of sunshine." The babysitter replied, lowering his head while a happy smile formed on his face, remembering the admirable child.

"Did he mention having any nightmares?"

The man shook his head. "No, My Lady. He was quite cheerful."

Saehyun was proud of himself. The child's continuous nightmares - while not being serious, set the palace atmosphere to a mournful level. Seeing his pouty lips and happy self, sulking in a corner was the worst. It was as though the ups and downs of the moods of all the staff were tied to the young prince.

Therefore, per the suggestion of the noble family's therapist, the boy was sent to Saehyun for daily entertainment with other noble kin. The babysitter would tell them stories, and teach them small tricks and joyful games. Anything that would lift their moods.

And at night, after going to slumber with a day of entertaining activities, the prince would have no more nightmares.

"May I ask what the nature is of these nightmares he sees?" Saehyun asked.

The lady stepped over to the small window, staring into the heavy pouring rain.
"Just nightmares. The ones children usually have." She answered.

Saehyun frowned. Children's usual nightmares would not put them under psychiatric care.

He chose not to comment. Lady Wolha must have her reasons for not sharing the information.

Ever since the young boy was born, she had taken impeccable care of his health, whether it was mental or physical.

"He is fine now." The babysitter said, intending to soothe her worries.

"He is." She replied. "That child is precious to me."

Saehyun did not respond to that. She had two older sons. This young boy was the last. Time after time though, she would make clear which of her children she loved the most.

No one could blame her in any way. This last child was much more different from the other two children. Better yet - from every other child.

"Let me know if he sees any more nightmares one of these days." The lady said as she turned to leave.

"I will, My Lady," Saehyun promised.
