After hearing this Minji quickly ran out from there...leaving you and taehyung alone in this room..

Taehyung was watching his fiancé run away. a satisfied smile crossed his face when she left. But then he turned to look at you.

his expression softened as he saw you. He walked up to you but then his heart melted at the sight of you holding his daughter Lily. He loved seeing you with her, the way you cradled her in your arms, the way she nuzzled into your embrace. It was a sight that warmed his heart...

Tae- thank you... (he mumbled, his voice barely audible)
Hearing this you handed lily to him and said with a chuckle
Y/n- it's not a big deal...

He gently took his daughter in his arms, cradling her against his chest. she immediately snuggled into him, her tiny hand gripping his shirt. He couldn't help but smile down at her...

Then he looked up at you and said
Tae- It is a big deal...you always take care of her.. (said softly)
Y/n- aish..She's so cute...No one can take their eyes from her..

Hearing this he looked at his daughter with so much love and affection. She really was adorable. Everyone who saw her always commented on how cute she was...
(he chuckled softly, gently rubbing his fingers through her hair)

Tae- she gets that from her mom..
(he said with a sad smile appeared on his face)
Y/n- hmm...I just wonder how beautiful your wife was...

Taehyung's smile faded at the mention of his wife. it was still a sore spot for him. her death was still fresh in his mind, but he tried not to dwell on it too much...

Tae- yeah...she was...very beautiful..inside and outside..
(he started, his eyes softening at the thought of her)

you softly smiled at him and said
Y/n- I can assure that by looking at your face..

his heart skipped a beat at your words. He wasn't expecting that compliment. He looked at you, seeing the smile on your face. it made his heart flutter...
(he chuckled softly, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips)

Tae- you flatter me again.. (You laughed at his statement)

But suddenly he noticed his daughter wanted to reach out for you, making grabby hands in your direction. she wanted you to hold her...

Taehyung chuckled softly, amused by her cuteness. He looked at you, silently asking if it's okay..and you nodded slightly.

Then he handed you his daughter, gently placing her in your arms...
Lily immediately cuddled into you, burying her head in your chest...and here, Taehyung couldn't help but smile at the sight.

Tae- she clearly likes you (he said softly)
Y/n- really? I like her too..

He felt his heart melt at your words. He could see the way you interacted with his daughter, the way you cradled her in your arms, the way you gently caressed her hair. it was obvious that you cared for her, and she liked you just as much...

Tae- you're good with her.. (he said, his voice filled with gratitude)
Y/n-  yeah...I love babies a lot (you softly smiled looking at her)
Tae- you'll be a great mom too...(he blurted out unintentionally)

But Hearing this your face became gloomy and you said looking down at the floor
Y/n- Mom? My husband cheated on me the day when he heard about my miscarriage..

Taehyung's heart shattered at your words. He felt anger bubbling inside him, anger towards your ex-husband for treating you so horribly. but hearing that it happened after your miscarriage made it even more devastating. He couldn't believe that someone could be so heartless...

Tae- that bastard.. (he growled under his breath)
Y/n- Actually I didn't get the opportunity of giving motherly love to my child...so that's why...when I get a chance I try to spend my time with your daughter...since you bring her to your office most of the time..

Hearing this his heart ached for you. He could see the pain and sadness in your eyes as you talked about your miscarriage. he couldn't imagine how difficult it must have been for you to go through that. He wished he could take away your pain...

Tae- thank you (he whispered, his voice filled with gratitude)....for taking care of her.

Y/n was looking into his eyes until his daughter started to cry, her tiny body shaking as
she let out loud sobs. it was a sound that instantly pulled his attention away from her and onto his daughter.

Taehyung frowned, his heart clenching with worry. He reached out to take her from you, cradling her in his arms..

Tae- shh, princess...daddy is here.. (he tried to soothe her, gently rocking her back and forth)

But just then his mother stormed into the room, her face was red with anger...

T/m- what's going on here? (she demanded, her voice loud and accusing)

Tae- nothing...we're going...Lily is crying (Saying this he grabbed your hand and pulled you out of the room, leaving his mother behind)

T/m- taehyung wait! (Cut off)
