A revisit :)

Hello! It's me posting again!

Soo.......

I remember saying something in my old (non-existent) AUL book about a fanfic or aul au idea. Anyone remember?

In case you don't (or have never heard of it), it was an idea suggesting an alternative direction for the series.

In my made up Aul 1-6 story arc, I gave a timeline to how the normal story pans out, which is like this:

In the og series, in episode 1 we get introduced to the characters of The Gentleman and Mr. Cheese. It was obvious from some interactions between the two that their relationship wasn't the healthiest if T.G's treatment of Cheesy was anything to go by. In Aul 2, T.G's abuse of MC continued more, however due to Cheese being the impostor that round, he was able to snap at Gentleman and kill him. By the time episode 3 rolled out, MC was replaced by Mr. Egg. It was again obvious that T.G treated Mr. Egg much better than he ever treated Cheese, and the two seemed to get along much better. This partnership continued to episode 4 and episode 5. However, it is from episode 5 that things changed. At the end of the episode it was revealed that the Player we saw throughout the episode was actually Mr. Cheese in disguise, where he then killed Mr. Egg after revealing himself. Then by episode 6, it seemed that Mr. Cheese was once again with The Gentleman, but on significantly better terms. Their relationship then only going more uphill from there.

And that's how the normal series panned out. I feel a lot of people were confused on how Mr. Cheese was re-accepted by T.G and how T.G changed. I assume that it was because Gentleman saw how dedicated Mr. Cheese was to being with him and the fact that despite T.G abusing Mr. Cheese, he still came back around for him, and that made TG realize he took MC for granted and made him rethink his decision on Mr. Cheese's treatment. That's what I say-

But this ain't about that. This is about the alt. route I made for this storyline. My alt. was that, because Mr. Cheese's and T.G's relationship was so sour, instead of getting back with The Gentleman, it made their relationship more soured and MC got ridiculed for the act.

I want to revisit that idea. I gave the idea as a fanfic idea for someone else, but I don't know if anyone actually used the idea. I didn't find anything-

So, I'm adopting my idea back and making it into an AU! Yippee!

So this chapter is just me brainstorming some things about that idea and making you read about it.

So getting into it, one of the most obvious things is that if Mr. Egg and The Gentleman continued to be a duo, Episode 8, where Mr. Egg and Player team up, would have to be changed. So changed it will be! Episode 8 will feature Mr. Cheese teaming up with Player instead. Because this AU features T.G's and Mr. C's relationship being bad, I feel like the encounter between T.G, Mr. Egg and Mr. Cheese will be a lot more tense then normal. I definitely imagine a more passive aggressive conversation with jabs and off-hand comments about the other party. Player would probably be in a pretty uncomfortable spot. The poor guy.

Speaking on Player, I definitely feel that Mr. Cheese in this Au would be partnered with Player a lot more than normal. It's definitely the safest option, but I also don't know any other alternatives. 

It would also be interesting to play into how much Mr. Egg knows about Mr. Cheese. It would be intriguing if Mr. Egg didn't even know about Mr. Cheese before his big act in episode 5 and just thought it was this random guy. I would definitely see The Gentleman try and keep his and Mr. Cheese's situation behind closed doors. Especially because it seems like some of the others believe his and Mr. Cheese's relationship is a good one.

Mr. Cheese would also probably need another color to be identified by if Episode 8 is happening (Because him and Mr. Egg can't BOTH be orange). Pink is the easy way out because it's the color Mr. Egg wears in this position but I don't think it'll fit Cheese. Maybe Cheese takes yellow instead and Vet isn't in the episode? I'll need to think on it. If anyone else has a suggestion then you may tell me your ideas. 

Also, I think it would be funny if Mr. Cheese dropped the Mister in his name and just called himself Cheese to represent that he isn't in relation with The Gentleman anymore. He would probably be petty like that.

Overall, I think this AU will be fun to play around with. I'm surprised someone didn't turn this into anything considering the idea could be taken by anyone. Or maybe someone did but the work went under my radar. Who knows.

If any of you all have any more potential ideas for changing episodes or creating new ones entirely, I would be happy to hear them!
