Hello Again! I'm here to serve! This was the chapter I already had done for a while! I'm posting it now because I already have it done. BUT I won't be posting anymore until I'm COMPLETELY DONE with the story. I apologize if it might be long, but here's my apology gift to you x3.
HURRAY, LET'S GO!

Lucy's POV
As I jumped to the other ledge, thoughts and worries of the possibility of falling to my death came across my mind. Of course, I believed it was possible for me to die, just not today. The only thought thus far that got me to keep going, was the thought that if I managed to get past all of this, Natsu will be able to recover and finally remember who we were. Who I was.
Luckily, as I snapped back to reality, I noticed that I had been standing upright on the ledge I supposedly jumped to. Not that I intentionally wanted to be dozing off into La La land. I just couldn't help it. Mind I explain myself again that Natsu is my... friend. My best friend, in fact. He would do anything for me and I won't hesitate to do something for him. Even if he doesn't remember how many times he has helped me out.
After about what seemed to be the longest and hardest 10 minutes of my life, I finally reached the top. (I'll spare the gruesome details of it) Of course, as I predicted, it was really cold at the top. I laid across the snow, not caring about the cold, and looked up at the sky.
"I did it. I really did it." I said feeling a tear drop fall from my eyes, leaving a cold yet warm trail of liquid on my cheek. I felt accomplished. So relieved that I finally conquered this mountain.
Only thing I had to do now is get the root.
'Now, where was it that Levy said it was... I think she just told me it was at the top of the mountain... Well I don't seem to remember if she told me anything or not, but I guess I'll just have to go looking for it myself' I thought
Walking wasn't my best suit. Especially if the ground was filled with snow. I would say about 12 inches high? *sigh*
I guess I shouldn't start complaining, and start moving. I don't want to do this at nightfall.
I was walking around aimlessly when I found a cave. Sort of similar to the one I slept in, but bigger. It seemed to go deep into a tunnel of some sort. Curious, I decided to head in with my head held up high.
As I took my first step onto the hard rock, I immediately heard an echo of my footstep throughout the whole cave. I didn't pay much attention to it until I saw something reacting to it and running across the cave.
A shadow.
It wasn't normal human sized, it was way bigger. Footsteps that were far stronger than any regular person.
I couldn't help but hesitate taking another step forward. My mind was definitely telling me to check it out, but my body just quaked with fear.
I managed to calm down a bit before heading in deeper into the cavern. It was still pretty dark. I could barely see a thing...
While hastily walking further and further in, I had my hand travelling on the side of the wall to guide me. It was the only thing that I could use at the moment so I wouldn't bump into anything.
At one point, the wall sort of ended and there were no more places to go. It seemed to be a dead end.
'Well this sucks'
