Elwia and Draco entered the common room and immediately saw the whole group sitting on the sofas. Everyone looked at them a bit weird; they weren't used to seeing them silent and not fighting.

"Wia, I'm so glad you got the position. Slytherin is going to win every game now, unless Draco fails to do his job as a seeker." Astoria smirked.

"Thank you, Astoria." Elwia said with a small smile and sat on the sofa next to Draco.

His presence was comforting in that moment, and Elwia felt a strong need to be close to him. She also longed to stay near her friends, knowing that being alone might allow her mind to turn on her in ways she couldn't control. Sometimes she hated her mind.

"Hey, I have a question, and I promise I won't get offended by your answers." Elwia began saying, "Do my looks remind you of anyone in our school? Like, do I look like anyone that we go to school with? Because it's a long and funny story, probably false, but I might not be who I thought I was. I might not be a Delacour." Elwia asked, trying to move her thoughts elsewhere.

"Umm, what?" Blaise said, confused.

"What do you mean you're not a Delacour?" Mattheo asked, his face looking intrigued.

"I mean, my name couldn't be found in the Delacour family tree, even though the book had been written after my birth." Elwia answered with a shrug of her shoulders.

"You look like that Potter dude." Adrian said.

Everyone started laughing, except Adrian.

"What? You literally have the same eyes as him, not that I've been looking at either of your eyes." Adrian muttered awkwardly.

"You could be a Black or a Lestrange. You have the same crazy eyes." Pansy said, looking at her.

"I don't have crazy eyes." Elwia defended herself. "And wouldn't that mean that me and Draco were like cousins or something?" The girl asked with a dry laugh and glanced at Draco.

"Idk, you also look like Luna Lovegood if she had brown hair." Blaise said.

"I'll take that as a compliment." Elwia smiled.

The group spent the rest of the evening discussing wild theories about who Elwia might be related to. They eventually settled on the idea that she was now Elwia Greengrass, though the only reason for that conclusion was because Astoria wanted her to be her sister. The only things they had in common were their hair colour and being 165 cm tall.

It had been three weeks, and there was still no word from Elwia's mother. Elwia felt so worried and anxious. Did her mother really want to refrain from telling the truth so much that she wouldn't even write back?

Also ever since the incident in the locker rooms, Elwia had been feeling more down than ever. She felt violated, as if she couldn't wash away the feeling of Taylors' hands and lips against her body. Sometimes, when she showered, she found herself scrubbing her neck so roughly that it would turn red and raw. During night time, Elwia silently cried while holding Scorpius close to her.

She and Lupin hadn't spoken at all since she had lashed out at him in the classroom. Elwia knew she shouldn't have acted that way, but she could tell he was hiding something, and it had really upset her. She needed answers—these last three weeks had been unbearable. Life felt like a constant struggle, with no way to remove the feeling of being stained and no responses from her mother or sister.

It was a late Thursday evening, and Elwia was strolling by herself in the corridors. Harry had returned the Bell Jar book to her a week ago, telling her he'd read it three times just to understand more about what his mother had been like. Elwia felt so bad for him. Harry was such a pure soul and deserved to have a childhood with his parents.
