" And the point I'm trying to get you to understand is that I don't care. " Satori said to her bestfriend saielle that sat in front of her.
Currently satori and saielle was talking about the altercation that happened between satori and her mother before they caught the bus this morning.
"Satori I think you should apologize, she was confused and probably oblivious to the whole situation. " Saielle said with a heavy sigh.
The whole altercation was about Satori coming to her mother telling her about her mother's boyfriend who had touched her inappropriately the night before. It wasn't his first time but Satori had finally got the courage after being to scared to tell her mom about it. After coming to her mom about it her mom had told her she didn't believe her and she was just being delusional.
"Saielle I'm sorry but I don't agree with anything your saying, and at the moment I'm bound to cut any and everyone off." Satori said raising a eyebrow at Saielle after hearing what she had just said.
Satori was so confused on why everyone felt the need to tell her how she was feeling, she knew her mom was in the wrong and at the moment she hated her for that. Satori felt like as a daughter and her being her mom she should be able to come to her about anything and her mom would believe her.
"Why are you being like that ? the whole situation is just a misunderstanding. " Saielle said while putting her hand on her hip tilting her head.
Satori chuckled and grabbed her backpack off the lunch room seat and walked off. She couldn't believe her "bestfriend" wasn't on her side right now.
After lunch Satori got the chance to go home, she only had 3 classes a day. Satori was a 12th grader and was ready to get away from everyone. It was only the beginning of the year so she had enough time to stack her money up and go. After the altercation that happened this morning Satori was ready to go by tonight and honestly that's what she was thinking.
Satori felt as if she didn't have to go through some of the things she did. Satori was always a great kid, she made A & B honor roll, she played all kinds of sports, she helped around the house. There was nothing her mother could say bad about her.
Satori's mother and father separated when she was in the 5th grade, very toxic situation. Her dad was a good guy her mom just always made the wrong decisions, her dad left her mom after finding out she cheated. After the divorce Satori's mom had men coming in and out of the house since than, and every since than Satori had been getting touched inappropriately.
Satori was scared to tell her mom because she knew the type of person her mom was, the night before was just to much for her. She was sleeping and she felt someone touching her but she just laid there being in shock. It hadn't happened to her in years so she was so scared to move or yell.
This morning just had just decided to tell her mom what happened because she could hardly sleep all night after what happened, it was weighing on her heavy and she just wanted to get it off of her chest.
Her mom had told her she was a liar and just wanted attention, and that she was delusional just like her father. Satori was so angry so she tried to take up for herself only to result into being hit in the face by her mother.
Satori's bus had finally came to an end with her noticing that it was her turn to get off. After getting off the bus she walked up to her home that was only across the street from the bus stop to see suitcases on the front porch. Satori was so confused on what was going on.
"Is that my stuff ? "Satori asked herself as she squinted at the things on the porch.
Finally getting close enough to see she noticed the suitcases was hers. After standing there looking confused for a min her mom came out the front door with a cigarette in her mouth.
"I packed all of your things, i can't have you here anymore Satori after that allegation you made earlier." Her mom stated shaking her head sitting the flicking the cigarette.
"So where am I supposed to go? I have no one. "Satori said as she felt her face become hot.
"I got you a bus ticket down to Miami, your gonna have to figure it out when you get there, your Uber in 10 mins away" Her mom said going in the house shutting the door.
All Satori could do was cry, she could not believe that her mom was making her move a place she knew no one. She couldn't believe that her waking up this morning deciding to tell her mom the truth would end up like this, she would have just kept everything to herself like usual.
After sitting on her phone trying to call people she realized that the Uber had got here, she just shook her head because she knew she had the other choice but to go ahead and go.
"Hey girl, want me to help you with your bags boo ? " the pretty Uber driver said as she approached Satori chewing on some gum.
"Please ?" Satori said as she wiped her face.
After putting every bag into the car they were on the to the bus station, Satori couldn't lie to herself that she wasn't scared. She had knew she wanted to leave but not this soon. It's not even that she didn't want to leave, she wanted to leave on her own she didn't expect her mom to put her out.
