It was cold the wind blowing fog in swirls creating a pattern. the fog was thick so thick in fact that Brian couldn't see his own feet let alone the pair that were following him. Brian was just wandering around till the fog settled he knew it wouldn't take to much longer. he stopped to think about that for a minute then continued to walk when suddenly he ran right into the tall, dark, and solid side of a wall.

"Damn fog i can't see anything." His senses in overload now. he sits down beside the wall. He smells something weird like a mixture of vanilla and raspberry. Then he hears the sound of feet moving closer and closer. For some unknown reason he feels the urge to run. Brian sees a outline of someone. Brian gets up and shouts at the figure who in response holds hands up and releases what look like claws with it a horrible screeching sound of metal against metal.

"BRIAN IF YOU DON'T GET YOUR BUT OUT OF THAT BED IM GOING TO THROW YOU OUT OF IT" Vanessa shouted. Groaning Brian gets out of the trap that induced his sleepless night of terror. He goes to the mirror of his bathroom and looks at the mess staring back.  he runs his hands through his long brown hair sticking up everywhere in a groggy attempt to tame his wild hair. Dark circles under his blue eyes. He reaches for the toothbrush in its holder but tips it over reflexively he grabbed for the mess of toothbrushes, toothpaste, and everything on the counter now crashing to the floor making a horrible racket. Brian begun picking everything up when his sister walked in.

"Oh sorry i was just wondering what all the noise was you OK bro." Jaden Asked. She was four years younger than Brian who was sixteen. Jaden loved her brother and ever since he had been having the bad dreams she helped him as much as she could. Ever since he told his parents about the dreams they took him to a mental doctor claiming he was insane. They now send him to a therapist every Saturday. Even as much as Brian wanted to hate his parents he was thankful because since he had been going to the therapist his dream slowly started to loose details more and more then he begun having them only every other day then less and less. Today was the first time he had dreamt of the monster stalking him in the fog in a week.

"Yea im okay sis go on and tell Vanessa about the mess and ill be down in a sec." Brian said and smiled at his bright energetic sister.

"OK." She said and ran off. Her blond curls bouncing all over the place as she ran. Brian was glad that today was Friday. Ever since his parents had sent him to the Doctor claiming he was insane word spread across the school faster than a sneeze and Brian became the crazy boy in a matter of seconds. Funny really how easy the teenage mind can forget and at the same time remember things.

A teenager will forget they have a test today but they will remember that Jack got Jamie pregnant. Or how if you got money Hannah will meet you after school in your car. Brian raced downstairs his bulk slowly starting to return now that he can finally sleep.

"Bye mom im leaving!" Brian shouted and ran out the door.
