"Hey Y/N." said Floyd smiling while holding a camera, "say cheese!" he told you before holding the camera in front of his eye and closing the other.

"Floyd!" you cry laughing, "I'm not even ready-"

The camera made a flashing and clicking noise as it took your picture. Floyd smiled even wider as he waited for the photo to print from the camera, grabbing the black and white square from the tiny machine excitedly.

"Oh, how does it look Floyd?" you inquired curiously still sitting on your shared bed.

Floyd chuckled lightly at your impatience, "Y/N it's still developing." he replied, shaking the photo to speed up the process. After a few more seconds of flapping around the picture he came to sit down on the bed next to you showing how it came out. In the photo you could see yourself sitting on the same bed giggling madly.

"Oh Floyd we can't keep that one I have my eyes closed. I just look silly." you complain to him.

Floyd didn't reply to you, instead he kept looking at the photo with that happy little look on his face.

"It's perfect," he said simply.

Surprised by his response you say, "Floyd that is so cliche."

"But it's true." he began, "you're (beautiful/handsome) even when you don't think you are."

Your heart skips a beat as he said that and you have to look away for a while as your face goes red. Floyd just laughed more.

"You drive me crazy sometimes." you tell him.

A moment of silence followed before Floyd said, "hey we should take a photo of the two of us. We haven't done that yet."

You turned your head to him, nodding, "Yeah that would be nice." you say.

Floyd scooted closer to you until your shoulders touched and he held out the camera in front of the two of you. You smiled as you looked into the camera's eye and waited for it to take your second picture.

"Flash Click." the camera said again.

You and Floyd both watched as the second photo developed until you could see the two of you smiling back from the tiny picture.

"See," you say pointing at the new picture "now that's a good quality picture."

Floyd laughed again before saying, "whatever you say sweetie," while still holding the photo in his teal hand.

leaning into Floyd you thought about how lucky you were to have someone like him. You vividly remember the day you met him.

Unfortunately you had been in a bit of a depressive episode at the time. It was caused by the fact that you couldn't get back to your home after finding a crack in the sky out in the woods. That crack was a portal of some kind and when you had gotten a little bit too close it had sucked you in, disappearing the second that you came out the other side. With no other choice you were forced to search this world long and hard for a way back home but never really did succeed. You did however find a place where you could stay with your own house among a small community of Trolls. By the time you met Floyd you had accepted this for what it was. Though that didnt mean you don't still dwell on it.

Sitting on a rock by the river you thought back on all of the things you had left behind in your old world: family, friends, even your job. There was just so much to miss.

You were so deep in your thoughts that you didn't notice someone else joining you by the bank until they started to talk to you.

"Um hey are you ok?" someone had awkwardly asked from behind.
