"I don't believe you are fit to be Queen!" streaks a girl from the crowd
"Ms. Shard sit down please" said Ms. Lockwood
"No let her speak. So I'm guessing you think you are.Tell me."
"It's because you are part werewolf you wouldn't understand anything about vampires."
"I think you've forgotten I am also part vampire. Let's talk when you have your facts together." I said with smirk
Before I walked off the stage Ms. Lockwood pulled me aside and whispered "After this please come to my office."
I walked away and found myself sipping on cherry wine mixed with champagne and a shot of Vodka. Then a girl walked my way.
"I'm sorry for the way my friend acted. Emma is not usually like that. Oh,silly me I didn't even introduce myself. The name is Pan,Skyla Pan please to meet your acquaint "she says and curtsys
"Nice to meet you,mmm...don't cursty and I didn't get along with the girls back home so this isn't something new."
"Why you seem like a cool chick
your majesty "
"Call me Misty and it's because I shared a room with the alpha."
"But isn't the Alpha of your pact your-"
"Yeah,but they didn't know that. To them I was the Alpha's bitch, their slave, the rouge, their punching bag." my face automatically changed
"Hey,turn that frown upside down.Like my dad always says Think Happy Thoughts" she began to hover,she flew in a circle and landed gracefully on her feet.
"Come on,let's meet some friends of mine " she said grabbing my hand and leading me through the crowd she stopped in front of a tall boy and a girl.
"These are my friends Zander and Cleo, guys this is Mistica the new girl."
"Misty- oh no, close the curtain!" before I could attempt to stop the girl who opened the window.I was staring mesmerized at the moon.My inner wolf took over,I felt myself yearning for something,
"Jade don't try anything stupid." she howled
"I said don't try anything stupid"I growled at her
"Look you've been crying all day.I'm here to have fun and keep you preoccupied" she stated firmly
She finished the drink in my hand and tried to make her way over.Her getting frustrated decided to fly.Attracting more attention than I already had she made her way to the D.J
"Hey Mr.D.J I think you need some assistance.Here play this for the rest of the night" she said tossing my phone to him.
The beat dropped and everyone imediatly started to dance. She walked over to the refreshments table and took a whole bottle of taquila.She opened the bottle and chugged down half of it.My throat was burning and my body was on fire. She took Zander's hand and lead him to the dance floor.The cloak once again wrapped around me trading my dress to a completly black outfit. I grinded back onto him my hips swaying left and right.A slow song came on I turned around to face him. He leaned down to kiss me.I pushed him away and said no,no,no.
"Come on sweetheart I thought we were getting to know each other."Zander slurred
"Your drunk, get off me"
"I thought we were off at a good start."he said while gripping my wrist.
Out of nowhere I heard a loud growl.There was a path being cleared and it was coming towards me.
"Let's go "Zander demanded.He was lifted up by his neck
"Now I am pretty sure she said no."
"Sorry, I was joking "
"That's not what I heard "the guy said still strangling Zander .He stepped in the light and recognition immediately flares through my mind.Zander was turning blue from the lack of air.
"Hunter, stop!"I screamed.He didn't listen to me.
"Hunter!"I yelled again
"Today's your lucky day.You live, go you"he said sarcastically and Zander scurried away
"Hunter"She said looking in his eyes. He looked nice dressed formally.I pulled him by his tie and kissed him.
