"It seems your place is replaced..."

"The boss has found someone to take over you."

"Rosalie!" Someone calls out to me loudly, making me turn over after closing the door to see something hurling right at me.
"Ah!" I gasp and flinch, sewing my eyes shut, preparing for the impact.
When nothing seems to crash into me, I peel back my eyelids to see Catalina stifling a laughter.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" I grimace at her, hitting the air with my hands.
"You better tell me what happened today!" She squeals, beaming brightly.
Jeez, this girl is too energetic.
"Girl, I literally just got home." I give her a look.
"Okay, but you have to tell me later!"

I dive my head under the warm flow of water, granting a million thoughts permission to cram my mind.
Wow, it's still unbelievable to think that I'm going to work real soon.
I have a job now, which will start tomorrow!
That's so crazy how he did all of this for me... Like...
Why?
Is it possible that he actually cares about me?
Because looking back at these past events, he was being genuinely nice towards me, taking care of me and fulfilling everything that I asked for...
I can't help but question.
Why did he do all of this...
For me?
Why am I special?
After all, I'm just an average teenage girl who is just utterly normal, like there is literally nothing outstanding about me.
I'm not that incredibly stunning, owning looks that could easily sweep any man's off their feet...
I'm just average...
And even weird sometimes, erm...

As soon as I tiptoe into the quiet living-room trying to figure out where she is, someone abruptly grabs my hand and in a split second, I find myself being pulled into sitting on a sofa.
"Jeez, girl..." I glare at Catalina weirdly.
