I could've just said "Yeah, I love you back." And kiss him on the cheek for good measures.

He brought flowers.

My favorite flowers.

I stop when i'm sure he's out of sight, when I text the group.

I turn off my phone and sigh, already feeling guilty.

Thank God he didn't chase after me.

I look at the cafeteria, filled to the brim with kids, that we were all forced to do because of those vicious PTA mothers for a Valentine's Day Dance.

The only people enjoying this? The couples.

I hear slow music playing.

Oh, how I would kill to dance with Aiden right now.

That's when my stomach drops and I see someone walking over to me.
