"NO WAY you're going to wear this babe", Kiara said rejecting another casual dress of me. "Girl! You've plenty of clothes in your cupboard, I saw em' myself. Your rich parents bought you thousands of dresses and still you're gonna wear this?", Kiara asked.

I tucked a strand of hair behind my ear, "Uh well Kia, you guys tell me only what should I wear?", I said. Sofia hummed, "Umm...", she sided some of my clothes and picked a lavender colour dress for me.
"This is awesome", Sofia said.
"Yeah actually", Kiara agreed with her and both giggled. "Guys! It's not a date", I said blushing. "Babe, we know you're attracted to him", Kiara said setting up my hair in a bow-clip, a few strands beside my face. And I could've agreed myself that I was actually looking beautiful.

My phone rang and I jumped, "It's him!!", I whisper-shouted. "Pick up the fucking call, dumbass!!!", Kiara said. I picked up the call, "Hello?", I said.
"I'm outside your dorm, come down if you're ready", he said and disconnected the call.
"Go!", Sofia pushed me. I took my white sandals and went down.

And then I saw him.
Speechless for sure. He'd worn a white button-up, with sleeves rolled up and black pants which would'v cost too much to think. A men-chain around his neck which made him look damn sexy. His hair was perfect styled which made me chuckle from inside because I never saw his perfect-styled hair.
He looked over me.

~POV Ends~

~Abhimanyu's POV~

She caught my breath for a slight second. Everything happening around me paused and my eyes got stuck on her beautiful eyes. I looked over her from top to bottom and realised how beautiful she was.
She came towards me, "Hey" , she said.
Words didn't left my mouth, my eyes were still stuck on her eyes. She flushed, "Hey?", she again said.

I got back to my senses and was about to ran a hand through my hair when she stopped me, "They look perfect", she said.
"Hello by the way...well...you look beautiful", I said and coughed trying not to look at her again.
She smiled, "Thank you, you too look good", she said. I nodded and slightly coughed.
This wasn't a date so I didn't know why the fuck I was feeling that nervous and also I didn't know why I asked her for a day out but well I felt good.

"So where we're heading to?", she asked when I started my car.
"The Clarions".
"The Clarions. Okay", she said.
"I don't why they named that cafe like that but it is what it is", I said squeezing my hands inside my pocket.
"Hmm...", she said stealing her gaze. I looked over her, in her amber eyes which made me want to sink in it. I was mesmerised by her beauty, not just from out, from inside too.
We finally reached The Clarions, the famous and most expensive cafe in New York.

"So...have you ever visited India?", she asked after we ordered our latte. "Nope. I used to live in Britain for like 15 years and then my father brought me back here in New York", I replied.

"Can see that...your British accent is quiet...attractive", she said tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. My lips curved into a small smile for a split second. "But, wait. You didn't live with your father till 15 years?", she asked.

"Mhm, well he was with me in Britain till I was 7 and then he left me with his mansion built there with many workers. I used to come from school finding nobody in there except Margret, my nanny. She tried to gave me all the love I craved for but I craved for the presence of my parents", I said looking away remembering how I used to sleep and cry alone at night, how I used to wish to god to gift me a parent on my birthday. How I used to wish my father get a second to talk to me.

Sympathy pooled into Akshara's eyes. "What about your mother?", she asked the question which I knew she would ask. "She died when I was 3", I revealed.

She parted her lips to say something but stopped. "I'm sorry. I ruined our...day out by bringing that stupid topic", I said.
"No, thank you for trusting me enough to tell those things", she said and held my hand and squeezed it with assurance. A wave of current rippled through my body by her touch but my heart felt comfort after a long time.

"Let's change the topic. What you wanna become?", I asked the most common question among students. Perhaps we were trying to know each other.
"NASA is my dream! An aerospace scientist. I just love everything about science and space", she said and started talking about her passion. Her eyes sparkled and skin glowed when she talked about NASA and space. I smiled seeing her talking about her passion.
She knew what she wanted to do and I was...clueless about my life.
"What about you?", she finally asked. "I haven't decided yet", I said looking away. She didn't push me for more info regarding my passion or dream but looked at me as I was capable of everything.
She made me feel something I never ever had felt yet in my life as if she was the only beam of sunlight in my dark life.
