Hey, I am Marleen, I am from the Netherlands and well, I join Wattpad but that was already obvious I guess. I have only had two years of English, so if you spot mistakes, please comment so I can improve. I would really like it if someone reads it, but I am not expecting more than 5 reads or so. Enjoy!
Chapter 1
Relief fills me when I see that Caro racing around the corner of the street. She jums off her bike and runs to the door of our school. Her brown hair waves behind her when she rums through the doorway. 'Caro!' I hug her 'I was just going upstairs when I saw you!' I see that Caro is out of breath. 'Thanks for waiting' she says while running to her locker. 'Which subjects?' 'Math and history'. I answer without thinking.
In fact, I am quite a nerd. I never get bad grades, and I spend at least one hour a day on homework. It is not like my parents are forcing me, but sometimes I just feel like doing homework. I don't really hate school, like some of the others do. Now you might think that my life is completely uninteresting, but I have Caro and when you have Caro nothing is boring.
'Hey dreamy girl!'
Caro waves her hand in front of my face. 'Let's go!' Caro runs to the stairs. 'We are late!' she shouts towards me. 'Coming!' I shout back when I start running. 'Backwards!' She runs upstairs, backwards. Oh Caro, we are late... She doesn't really care about being late and missing lessons and making homework and well, she doesn't care about school at all, actually.
When we reach our classroom, we find that the door is closed. Caro opens the door roughly and runs in. 'Are we late?' She pulls her puppy dog face. Mister Morc gives us an unpleased look. 'Excuse me, miss Blake? Are you being rude or am I wrong? Please enter the class again in a better way.' Caro sighs and walks out. 'Me too?' I ask, because in fact I haven't done anything wrong, have I ? 'Just take your seat.' He points to the front row, which is completely empty.
'Good morning, mister Morc.' Caro walks neatly into the classroom, almost sarcastic. I have to suppress my upcoming laughter. 'Thank you for behaving like a good student.' Mister Morc glances at Caro. I can see that he doesn't mean it, but that doesn't really matter.
The day just goes its way and at half past five Caro and I walk to our bikes. 'Hey, I have to tell you something, can you come to my house?' 'I don't know, we have loads of homework...' I hope she understands, but when I look up to her face, I see that she is really nervous. 'What 's up?' I ask curiously. 'Well, that's exactly what I am going to tell you when you go with me!' She says it quasi annoyed. She never loses her humor, in whatever situation she is. Now I really want to know what this is about, so I decide to go with her. 'Fine, I'll go with you.' I say it like it is a big offer, and in fact it is not really common for me to give up my homework-time, but she's my best friend, she goes first.
When Caro opens the door of her room, I recognize that she's sweating. During the ride home she was already acting different, I have never seen her like this before. I hope she's okay. 'Aniela, this is really important.' She starts her story which becomes stranger and stranger, it is kind of scary. While she tells it, I don't say anything, we don't laugh, we haven't really talked this serious to each other before, I think.
So this was my first chapter! I like writing, but all of my stories before this one failed... we'll see. And if you liked it, please vote! I would love to get votes (: (: Bye!
I just found this story, two years later. I edited some stuff an I am planning to continue the story.
