Soleil and Maelynn laughed while discussing a video idea. Soleil had already asked Cassie and Spencer permission to do it and now she was running it by Maelynn to see if it was a good idea and if she would want to join in.
They called in some favors and got two guys to come over. Their names are Landon and Milo; Landon is fifteen, a freshman, about 5'10 with short blonde wavy hair and green eyes. While Milo is sixteen, a sophomore, a tad taller about 6'0 with straight black hair and hazel eyes.
Soleil and Maelynn had hung out with these guys before (due to Soleil's parents being friends Landon's) so it wasn't uncomfortable or hard to get these guys to go along with their idea. Though they aren't extremely close they're cool with each other and used to hangout when they were a little younger and Soleil occasionally sees Landon on trips she goes on with her parents.
What makes it even better is that although Nelson and Soleil are best friends he's never really met Landon only seen him on various vacation posts that Soleil has made.
Now they were just waiting for the boys to get there so they could start the video.
Just as Maelynn went to the kitchen to make some popcorn the doorbell rang. Soleil and Maelynn looked at each other then headed out of the living room towards the front door.
As they opened the door they saw nobody there so they decided to just close the door figuring someone was just messing with them. Then five minutes later the doorbell rang again. They checked the peephole this time and still nothing. They heard it again.
But this time instead of checking the door they went upstairs and Soleil called Landon seeing as he and Milo were supposed to get there soon.
"What's up Soso?" Landon's voice spoke through the speaker
"We think there's someone outside." Soleil responded fast
"What do you mean you 'think' someone's outside?" Milo's voice was heard in the background
"We kept hearing the doorbell go off but we couldn't find anyone." Maelynn whispered a bit
"Well why'd you call us and not the cops?" Landon sounded panicked
"Oh shit we forgot about that but we were warning you guys because you told me you'd be here soon!" Soleil rushed out completely scared
"It's okay lele I'll call them." Maelynn stated hugging her best friend slightly
