Were they ever really enemies ? De'lani finally moves to sugar hill, reuniting with her cousin and her friend group, but moving to Harlem didn't solve all her problems..
After their confessions the teens had went back upstairs to the rest of the group.
They had settled on keeping what they had going on onna low until it was official.
"Where the food?" Mae said curiously.
"That wasn't the food it was Jayden" De'lani groaned rolling her eyes. She was SOO tired of him.
"he tryna catch another fade or sum?" Notti laughed.
"That nigga is a BUM" dd added in.
Lani's eyes soon met destiny's and she noticed the eager look on her face.
She didn't say anything though. I mean she's pregnant after all who knows what emotions she going through.
Eventually the food actually came and everyone had went down stairs to eat.
"Hey lans can I talk to you real quick" Destiny said to her best friend lowly enough where no one could hear.
"Yeah sure". All Lani wanted to was be there and support her friend no matter what.
"What happened?" Lani spoke after destiny pulled her aside.
"Uhm.. nothing really I just thought.. it was time I tell everybody about the baby!" Her voice went particularly high as she said the last part.
"Like Right now?" The girl raised an eyebrow.
"Uh yeah!"
"Oh ok come on then"
As they went back into the kitchen lani went to stand beside Darrian who was already stuffing his face.
"Uhm guys destiny has something to tell every one"
She knew her friends still weren't to fond of destiny but they still didn't treat her differently or was rude to her of course. They just thought she was weird.
Everyone stopped what they were doing to look at her.
"So- well about a week ago I found out I was... pregnant."
the whole kitchen got even quieter. Ethan practically spit his water out while Mae and David's jaws had reached the floor.
"Uhm congratulations!" Mae finally said breaking the silence.
"Yeah congratulations.." David and Ethan joined in.
"Who's the dad?" Darrian blurted out once again making the room silent.
"Darrian!" I jumped hitting him.
"What? I'm curious" he said throwing his hands up.
"Uhm it's just this random boy from back home. Nobody really knows him." She smiled weakly.
It was like no one knew what to say.
"You having baby?" Deja said which released the tension in the air.
"Yeahhh"
Later that after everything had settled down and the boys went home lani was up talking to destiny about the baby.
"I mean but I'll definitely come to the doctors appointments if you want"
"Aww thank you." Destiny smiled.
"Wait what's the baby daddy name again?" De'lani asked in pure curiosity. She couldn't recall her mentioning it before.
"L-Jake." She said quickly.
"Ouuu girl he white or sum?"
"Nah" she laughed.
"Ok let's say 𝐉𝐚𝐤𝐞 DO step up and be a dad- if the baby a girl we can name her "jakeiana"and a boy it could be "jakeon!"
"STOP PLAYING WIMME!" Destiny screamed before throwing a pillow at the curly headed girl.
"AHH OK IM SORRY IM SORRY!"
