Chapter 5

Inarizaki's festival was tomorrow, Rintaro left early in the morning because he had duties waiting for him at school and his mom left for work.

Y/n was left for herself for the whole day.

She stayed on her phone until 12am. And after left the house for a walk.

This area was completely foreign for her, so she decided to just walk wherever her feet lead her. After walking for around 30 minutes, she ended up on a tiny road which overlooked a river.

She went down to the river and dipped her foot in the water (which was in fact really cold!) and she sat down on a rock.

The road she took was not much frequented, but she still watched the people walking on everytime someone passed.

Her gaze switched from the people passing to the water running in the river. Everything was really peaceful, she really felt relaxed.

But the peaceful sounds of nature were interrupted by footsteps, signaling someone descended the road and joined the river. But she did not look up.

The person sat across from her. And after some minutes of silence, finally spoke up:

"This river is so calm, If I was a fish I would live here."

This sentence caused y/n to finally look up, and there was a boy, with dyed blond hair, brown eyes, and a sheepish smile.
She recognized him, it was Omegle boy. She widened her eyes of realization.

"Yes, but it's really cold." Was all she managed to say. She paused, the thoughts running through her head at the speed of light. Was it really him? Was he really the boy she's been playing almost every night Roblox with ? The one for who she started developing feelings ? But as if her body had a mind of its own, her mouth opened again.

"You seem familiar."

Shit, why did she said that, she shouldn't have asked, he is gonna think she is a crazy stalker who on-

"You too."

What ?

Did he really said that ? Is it really him ?

She needed to know.

"Skibidioutof10 ?"

"Yes, swagcook1es ?"

"Yes."

The two smiled, a naive smile, looking at each other.

"What are you doing here Omegle boy?"

"I live here, well right now I should be at school but I said I was sick, so here I am!" The girl laughed and said "and why did you come here ?"

"I like this river, it's calming." He looked at the sky before shutting his eyes. "Since I was a child I came here everytime I felt the need to, I should be the one asking you."

"Well, I was bored so I decided to go for a walk. I wanted to discover here."

"You don't live here ?"
