***Just a quick disclaimer, I wrote this in about 10 minutes and will be coming back to edit it and make it better. I know not all of this is correct information and I probably should've done my research beforehand but I hate politics, and only find the idea of joe and donald being secret lovers hilarious. Please enjoy.***

Joe walks into the gas station, grabbing a paper from the stand out front and slamming it on the counter.

"Will this be all sir?" The cashier doesn't look up at him as Joe stares daggers into him.

"Does it look like I have anything else?" Joe retorts, slapping a quarter on the counter and snatching the paper back.

The blonde walks out of the building and back into his truck. He slams the door and skims over the page. Mostly coupons and advertisements. Then suddenly his eyes focus on the bottom text. It read;

"DONALD TRUMP SHOT AT RALLY"

His eyes nervously skirted the page, and frantically read all the info.

"Donald Trump was shot at a rally that he was speaking at in an attempt of assassination. He was hurried off of the stage after the bullet grazed his face. The former president passed out until security rushed him out. Officials state they still are finding out who it was, but it won't be long until we find who did it."

Joe couldn't believe this. He pulled out his phone and pulled up the contact he had sworn to never call again. The phone rang once. Then twice. Then it stopped.

"Joe?" Donald's sweet voice found its way into the microphone of his phone and into Joe's ear.

"When were you going to tell me?" Biden whispered his eyes downcast, the paper now discarded on his passenger seat.

"What do you mean..." Donald was deflecting although knowing what he meant.

"You were shot." silence on the other line. "You were shot and you didn't even think to tell me. Do you know how much I care for you? Even though we run against each other it doesn't erase the past we have. You are still in my heart. In my mind. In my conscious. I can't stop thinking about you." His voice started to crack and a tear formed, rolling down his cheek.

"You said it yourself, it all meant nothing. You can't come back to me after making me feel like nothing!" Joe felt his heart breaking into two hearing Donald's words.

"But this is serious Donnie!"Joe's voice boomed loudly, scaring Donald.

"So the golfing wasn't serious? All the times you carried my golf bag for me and told me not to worry about it? Oh wait. Right. You told the world you hated it and didn't even want to. Do not contact me again."

The call ended, leaving Joe with his thoughts and tears.
