Kailere's POV:

i woke up to the fire alarm going off wtf is going on

i walk out the room seeing amari cursing while fanning the alarm

"damn bitch you tryna burn the house down"

she scoffs walking back in the kitchen

i sigh "can we talk"

i sit down at the bar

"look im sorry for getting close with billie it was a one time thing we're leaving tonight plus she's on tour so we'll probably never see her again" i sigh

she looks away for a second

"okay i forgive you but promise one thing"she pleaded

i nod

"promise me nothings going on with billie and nothing will happen"

"i-i promise"

idk why i hesitated but a promise is a promise

i dont wanna ruin my friendship with my best friend over some girl

"okay im sorry for snapping at you yesterday" she apologizes

i walk over to her pulling her in for a hug

she just laughs

"i don't know why your laughing you have an accent too"i mutter

"whatever let's eat" i say in white girl voice

i made both our plates full of eggs, bacon, grits,and waffles while she found a movie to watch on disney plus

we ended up watching moana while we ate and now we're packing up

i'm glad we made up cause honestly i don't know what i would have done

but i doesn't matter now

my thoughts got interrupted by my phone ringing

i pick up my phone for the first time today seeing my instagram blowing up wtf

i got over 3,000 new followers

100+ new dms what the fuck !

as i scrolled through them one caught my eye it was from billie

i hover over it debating on if i wanna click on it

i think back to the promise i made with amari suddenly feeling guilty turing my phone off and going back to packing

2 hours go by we've cleaned the beach house up turned the keys in and now we're sitting outside wating for our uber
