In the mystic lore of ancient Greece, there once existed an era when humans were whole, a time when love reigned supreme and peace embraced every heart. Each soul was united with its perfect counterpart, a wondrous being with four arms, four legs, and two faces, joined in an exquisite fusion of two souls as one.
Yet the gods, gazing down from their celestial heights, grew wary of human strength, of the boundless courage, unyielding hope, and formidable power that mortals possessed. Zeus, sovereign of the divine, conceived a plan to sever this unity, cleaving each human into two.
Thus divided, humanity was plunged into an abyss of despair, consumed by loneliness and an insatiable yearning. Days passed in a haze of hunger and stillness, their spirits aching with an unspoken void. In time, they learned to navigate their existence as fractured beings, ever roaming the earth in search of their lost other half, the eternal quest to be whole once more.
