For the next few days Niles stayed away, he didn't bother her and he allowed her the freedom to move around the house like she was a part of it. To her at first it felt like there was a catch. They had left the door open, then when she came out of the room security detail just passed her like she wasn't walking around at all.

She wasn't going to let her guard down though but the past few days had been traumatic for her that she was in a withdrawal state. Which was at the perfect timing because Niles had stopped threatening her life. He had asked her if she had given up yet, had she ? Now that she wasn't attempting anything and just being in the moment. A certain piece of artwork in the artifact.

Her legs were dipped into the pool water. The mansion had a pool right at the top which gave off the view of the ocean.

It was high enough.

She had thought before looking back at the security then at the view. She took off the dress she had on, somewhere down the line. The housekeeper Neyra brought her clothes, they were not allowed to speak with each other, but they had grown fond of the other. They spoke for a spare moment and Neyra would be out of sight as soon as possible.

Allison slowly let her body into the water, then she dived down before going up for air. She began to swim to the edge of the pool. The infinity pool was expanded, the other half being just glass and water. She could see the coming cars in the mansion. Men moving around and in front of her, the blue ocean.

She pulled on the glass so she could float but the thought wouldn't leave her.

She should jump.

Her eyes looked back down again before she turned her body around and there he was standing right on the edge of the other side. His hands were tucked into his black pants that were paired with a black t-shirt and a silver neck piece. His tattoos were visible on either side of his arm and well blended to the tone of his skin. His masculine build was a compliment to the whole of him.

She stared at him, and he stared back with a bare face. The staring intensified as they kept their eyes on each other until finally she succumbed and dived under the water, holding in her breath as she swam toward him.

What could he possibly want?

He had not bothered her for over a week, her body had recovered from most of the brutal harm caused to it but not fully. She was still screaming on the inside wanting to be set free and even though it never showed she was crying for help.

She finally brought her head out of the water, floating in front of him. Her eyes looked up to him as he stood in front of her looking down at her. The silence was loud, and their eyes spoke more to each other as they remained like that for a given time.

Her face had droplets of water, her now cut short hair drenched and pressed against her skin. She didn't bother pushing it away as she emerged from the water.

Niles finally moved back from the pool and sat down on one of the resting chairs then waited for her to come out. Her eyes met the dress, now in his hands. She looked at herself then back at him, but he didn't move. He waited and so she pulled herself out of the water.

She stood by the pool and watched him study her body. She brought her arms in front of her, in distress crossed her legs and kept her gaze down.
He cleared his throat, and her face snapped up to look at him but fell on the guard carrying a body towel.

She took it and quickly wrapped her body before running away from him. She got into the room and dried herself. She reached for a track pant and wore it with a grey t-shirt.

"Come with me."

Niles's voice broke from the other side of the room. She came out of the closet but stood at its doorstep. His footsteps retrieved from the door, and she followed behind him. He opened the car door for her, and she got in, silently the car drove out of the mansion taking a route she didn't know.

She didn't ask where he was taking her. He was probably going to kill her for all she knew but maybe that's what she needed. To leave, everything she's known and everyone she's known.

The car stopped in the middle of nowhere, Niles got out and she opened her door as he made his way to hers. They began their walk towards the trees and Niles looked around when they were further in. He smirked.

"She's coming."

"Who?" She finally asked.

He only looked at her then reached for a pocketknife. He opened it and gave it to her, but she didn't take it. Instead, she stared at it.

"Take the knife Alliison." He commanded.

Hesitantly she took it and looked at it for a moment before looking at him.

"Let's call this game hunting. If you can kill the runaway, you'll save her life."

"Who's life?"

"Your sister's life...at least for today."

"I'm not killing anyone!"

"Ow but do you have a choice?"

Allison threw the knife of the ground, frowning she looked at Niles as though he was out of his mind.

"Niles I'm not killing anyone." She repeated.

He took out his phone.

"Wait-" She stopped him, he looked at her.

"I'll do it."

She picked up the knife and her eyes saw the running figure headed towards them. She approached it, shaking.

The figure continued to run, the running was weak and tortured. The woman kept falling but she wasn't stopping, she was running and as she came closer and closer to Allison's direction. Allison hid behind a tree, when the woman came towards the tree Allison appeared and stabbed her right in her abdomen.

Their eyes fell on each other, it was Freya. The woman who had been a part of their company for 9 years. They got along and she insisted on bringing her along but now here she was, being the one to stab her with a knife.

The two women fell to the floor and Allison further pushed and pulled the knife from Freya as she took her last breath. The blood was oozing out of her body, it was in Allison's clothes and on the fallen leaves and the dirty ground.

"I'm sorry..." Allison said a tear escaping from her eyes.

"I can't watch my sister die, he'll kill her. I'm sorry."

She whispered as tears trailed on her cheeks. Niles's footsteps approached; Allison wiped her tears off her face before she realized she had smeared blood on her face. She looked at her shaking hands covered in blood, her insides turned, and she turned to the other side throwing up.

Niles squatted in front of them, he felt the pulse of the other and looked at the other.

"Good girl." He spoke.

Allison glared at his retreating figure and her eyes rested on the knife. She picked it up and without hesitation charged at him. He felt her entire force coming behind him, he quickly turned around grabbed her armed arm and threw her entire weight to the ground and she winced at the impact.

"Fuck you Niles! I will fucken kill you!!" She screamed fighting him off her as he held her town taming her anger, but she wasn't stopping so he pulled his gun out and hit her with it causing her to fall unconscious instantly.

"We're getting there." He said as he pushed her hair away from her face.

"We're slowly getting there amore."
