Chapter Three

It was the day before the start of the tournament and all the countries were gathered in a building with a huge leaderboard.

Miyagi-Do sees Cobra Kai walk into the room and they all seem surprised. When Kreese and Kim revealed themselves Daniel and Johnny looked at each other, surprise on their faces. When Tory came out from behind Kreese and Kim everyone was surprised but then they noticed the bruise just under her eye. Johnny and Daniel looked at each other, concern etched on their faces. Robby was watching Tory and watched her tuck a loose piece of arm behind her ear and saw her Gi sleeve ride up. He saw the bruise on her arm and frowned.

Tory looked at him briefly and Robby could see the same look in her eye that she had had the day she left Miyagi-Do, and his heart dropped. She isn't okay. After the opening ceremony, all the Dojo's exited the building. Tory walked slowly, not realizing that she had an audience.

"Tory!" Tory heard a couple of people call. Tory turned around and saw Sam and Robby. She wanted to keep walking, but she sighed. She knew she wouldn't be able to walk away fast enough to lose them.

"What do you guys want?"

"What the hell happened to you? You just disappeared and now you just show up with Kreese and Cobra Kai?" Sam asked. "Not to mention the woman that pushed you so hard you got your hand broken,"

Tory looked down and swallowed back the tears she felt coming on. She missed Sam and Robby so much.

"I, um. Look, it's complicated and I wish I could explain, but I can't." Tory told them and watched the confusion form on their faces. Before she could say another word she felt someone come up from behind her. The hairs on the back of her neck stood up. She looked over her shoulder and saw Kwon. She turned back and gulped.

Robby noticed while Sam just walked away. Robby looked into Tory's eyes, silently asking if she was okay. Tory slightly shook her head.

Robby kept his expression neutral, not wanting to give Kwon any reason to think Tory was plotting something. Robby just walked away while Tory felt scared, not wanting to be left with Kwon.

"We need to talk, Nichols," Kwon said, grabbing Tory's wrist and dragging her to the hotel they were staying in. Robby turned to look behind him and saw Tory looking back too, fear on her face. Robby felt his blood run cold. Something was seriously wrong.

Robby had gone back to the hotel but instead of his room, he went to where Daniel was staying. He knocked on the door and waited for him to answer.

"Robby? What's going on?" Daniel asked, concern on her face.

"I need to talk to you, Mr. LaRusso," Robby said, barging into the room.

"What is it, Robby?"

"It's about Tory," Robby told him, and Daniel furrowed his eyebrows.

"What about her?" Daniel asked, not caring much.

"There's something you don't know about what happened to her at Cobra Kai." Robby started. "She was forced to do something that broke her hand."

Daniel's mouth gaped open. "What was she forced to do?"

"She had to punch a stone dummy," Robby told him and watched his mouth open more. "She tried to leave but other Sensei's stopped her from leaving. Sensei Kim and Silver made her break it before she could leave." Robby explained and he watched Daniel pale and sit down on a chair.

"She broke her hand?" Robby nodded. "She didn't tell anyone did she?" Robby shook his head.

"She never does. She holds things in, Mr. LaRusso." Robby told her. "She holds things in until they explode but Mr. LaRusso, something seems really off with her right now. I just talked to her, and she had the same look in her eyes that she had the day she left Miyagi-Do. She looks like she's in trouble." Robby told him, getting emotional. "You saw the bruise on her face. That didn't look like a training injury." Robby said and Daniel nodded, agreeing. "She went to tuck a piece of hair behind her ear and her Gi rode up. I saw a handprint bruise on her arm. I think she's in trouble."

Daniel took in the information and his own concern grew. He should have known something was seriously wrong if Tory was back with Cobra Kai.

"Robby, does anyone else know?"

"Sam went to talk to Tory the day it happened, and she saw her hand. Don't think Tory ever told her what actually happened though. Just told her it was a training accident." Robby told Daniel and Daniel sighed.

"Alright, thank you for telling me, Robby. I'll see what I can do, okay?" Daniel watched Robby nod and walk out of the room.

What the hell do I do? Daniel questioned.
