Chapter 1

☆ before  starting I'd like to tell you all that this book is purely fiction and made up in my imagination , nothing is actually true or related to the actual idol , you could say I'm only using the names to make up a story

And the day finally came where my mother told me about her boyfriend
I'd finished with my online classes and came down for breakfast when my mom said she has something important to tell me , by the way she was fiddling with her hands and looked nervous it was obvious about what she had to say but ofcourse I wasn't sure , she might want to discuss something else

"Well.." she finally broke the awkward silence and started talking "I have a boyfriend"

To which I replied "I know" in a calm tone , it was kind of funny watching her shocked face because I'm sure she didn't expect me to say that

"You know? How do you know that" she asked curiously

"You continuously giggled while on a call with someone and I also over heard you talking on the phone when I came in the kitchen but you didn't notice my presence, but I'm happy for you" I stated the obvious and honestly I think this is the most words I've ever spoken to my mom in the two years I've lived with her

She was looking very happy and she even started tearing up and then she came right towards me and engulfed me into a bone crushing hug , which was kind of uncomfortable but I didn't say anything , I let her have her moment

After she was done crying in my arms and she leaned back and wiped her tears

"I thought you'd be mad at me , Mirah so I was very nervous to tell you.." she whispered in a low voice as her voice was still kind of breaking because she just cried

"I wouldn't be mad at you , I'm very happy for you. Is there anything else you need to tell me?" I replied and asked as softly as possible because my mother was a very sensitive person

"Well..i wanted to let you know that my boyfriend proposed and I was thinking you meet his family , you're gonna have stepbrothers" she stated hesitantly

"Well I'll meet them as long as that's what you want"

And after that I told her I'd go out while she went to work and after bidding each other goodbye I just went on a walk to a park or something , I took my camera with me so I took take some pictures of nature ofcourse or the sky

Honestly I'm not sure how it's gonna work when my mother gets married because I panic around too many people and can't even properly communicate with my mother so I don't know

Also I don't how many stepbrothers I have...but I'm not looking forward to getting along with anyone , my own company is enough and if I get too attached they'll find out about the mafia company I work in which can't happen and also my racing obsession which my mom does not know

Maybe I could live alone , move out maybe
We can think about these things later the most important thing is to hope they're good people...

{Time skip} meeting with the Kim's

Well today was the day I was gonna meet my mother's boyfriend , I'm not sure how I feel probably anxious that I'll have to eat and talk between a few people...We were asked to have dinner there

We got to their house and oh my fucking god it was huge , well I don't think a 'few people' would live here..looks more like a fucking castle to me

We rang the bell and it was opened by a man I'm guessing that is in his 40's or 50's not sure and he had his hair made up perfectly and he wore a normal white shirt and pants , pretty formal for a dinner

Now I see why my mother took out a white dress for me to wear , I would have worn something similar anyways but she insisted so I let her , not like I'd say anything

Anyways we entered the huge ass house- or castle and he first introduced himself Which was nice

"Hi sweetheart , thank you for coming! And this is your..daughter? I'm Kim Dong wook your mother's boyfriend " He asked giving the brightest smile I'd ever seen

"Hello , Mr , I'm Lee Mirah nice to meet you" I stated in a low tone but it was audible to him

He first to us too was seemed like the dining room and told us to take a seat while he called a maid to call his sons

I was expecting..2 sons or something but 7 people came downstairs , I tried my best not to looked shocked which worked and my reaction looked normal. Thank god

Anyways they first met my mother then me and then continued to introduce themselves to me and mom , well atleast they seemed nice

After to that they all took their seats and I sat right between the one who said his name was Jin? And the other said his name was..yoongi? It's gonna take awhile to remember their names but that's alright I won't talk to them much and..I don't think I'll need to call them

It was very uncomfortable I couldn't even eat properly because I was highly aware of the fact I was around 10 people or something and I could feel my panick attack coming but I tried to stay calm as possible , I can have mental breakdowns when I get back home

How the fuck and I gonna live here , oh my gosh

The oldest one who sat beside me..tried to chat with me but I replied with a blunt answer which put a stop to our conversation , I tried okay not my fault I'm bad at socialising

Anyway I've never been to real fucking school , I study online which I love , I'd hate to go to actual school , because people. This reason alone is valid

I swear I felt every single one of my soon to be stepbrothers judge me and give me wierd looks but I didn't give a shit except my anxiety went up and I was actually convinced i had to go home and straight go to bed , I did take a bathroom break however to which one of the brothers took me too

When we went there was a VERY awkward silence and the way back it was the same , my mother betrayed me and went with her boyfriend after the dinner to have a good time while I was stuck with these people I barely knew , I wanted to have a mental breakdown but I didnt

They tried talking for a while until they gave up and then some of them asked to give me a tour to which I reluctantly agreed cuz I was bored and then we went around the whole castle , when I got to the library Which was surprising they had one , I for the first time started a conversation with one of them by asking if I could borrow the book while I was here and they agreed I got really happy , but didn't show it

Anyways I finally got to go home and we bid goodbye and I swear to god I've never been happier to get home , I straight up went to my room and went to sleep

Ive never been more grateful for a bed as much as I've been right now

Today we were told by dad that his girlfriend was coming , honestly we did kind of check details about them because better be safe then sorry so yeah , we couldn't find anything wierd or suspicious about them which was good because our dad literally proposed which means we'll be living together as a family soon

We invited them over for dinner and it's turned out Mrs lee's daughter was was very quiet and totally the opposite of what we expected , we tried to talk to her a few times but she replied with a yes or no and there was nothing to talk about next , maybe she was shy , when we asked her mother why she was quiet when she went to the bathroom her mother replied that she's always been a quiet child

Her mother mostly told us about Mirah, that she was 19 which was pretty young because we were all above 20 so that means we would have to take care of her after our parents get married but she didn't seem like someone who needed care she seemed pretty mature

After the dinner and after mrs lee and her daughter left all us sibling gathered around and shared our opinions , they didn't seem like bad people or anything but still some of us were hesitant

A few days after the dinner we were supposed to meet up to buy outfits for the wedding
