12- Making Progress

Third person Pov:

Ever since Danielle made friends with Haerin she's been near her almost all the time and Haerin was getting used to it.

"Haerin!" Danielle called to her which caught Haerins attention, Danielle came to her and sat next to the tree Haerin was always sitting under during lunch break, if not she would have been with Kazuha.

"Hello hello!" She said next to Haerin who's peace has been disturbed. "Hi." She said her focus on a chemistry book this time.

"How are you?" She asked, "Doing alright I guess." Haeirin replied. "What do you mean you guess?" Danielle asked her another question.

"I don't know." Haerin answered finally looking at Danielle. "Your weird." Danielle told her which caused Haerin to side eye her.

"In a good way!" Danielle said with an awkward smile which caused Haerin to nod her gaze switching to the book.

"How come your always reading a book when I come?" Danielle just questioned her again. Haerin shrugged.

"You ask way too many questions." Haerin stated. "How!? I just asked three questions." Danielle frowned staring at her.

"You just made that four how ironic." Haerin said as she closed the book and put it down.

"You're rude." Danielle spoke as if its a fact. "You can be annoying." Haerin said with no hesitation looking at her once again.

"Did books make you that rude? Because I am not annoying." Danielle sulked at what Haerin said.

"Maybe." Haerin spoke as she took another book from her back, this time it was a comic book.

"Then you better give me that book before you become a demon!" Danielle reached over for the book which caused Haerin who was teasing her to lean backward to keep her book safe.

"Yah! Leave my book alone!" Haerin said as she's technically laying on the floor trying to keep the book away from Danielle.

"No way!" Danielle tried reaching for the book her arm stretching for it but Haerin wouldn't budge into giving her it. "Give my book back, Hey!" Haerin half shouted, Danielle successfully stole her book.

"Nope!" Danielle smiled proudly. "Aishh.. just give it!" Haerin groaned tried to take it leaning forward but she couldn't sit proper because Danielle was ontop of her so Haerin had to balance her self with the help of her elbows

"Danielle give it you're being annoying!" Haerin complained but Danielle couldn't bother on giving it back.

"Since you called me annoying I'm not gonna give it back!" Danielle got up from her with a smile and ran away which got Haerin to groan once more. 'She's really acting like a child.' Haerin thought with a sigh.

Haerin got up and chased after Danielle, luckily Danielle wasn't the best at running and she doesn't like it either so Haerin easily and quickly caught up to her.

Danielle noticed Haerin behind her and turned around putting the book behind her back.

Haerin stood infront of her after she realised Danielle stopped running. "Give me my book back." She said in a panting voice.

Danielle shook her head with a smile. Haerin sighed once again and looked over her shoulder and tried to take the book but Danielle took a step back.

They were nearing the end of the hallway where they had to take a turn so Haerin took use of the oppurnity.

She took a step forward which caused Danielle to take a step back they continued this until Danielle's back hit the wall and so did the book.

Haerin pinned her to the wall. "Now give me my book back. You're cornered." Haerin said her eyebrows furrowed.

Danielle smiled as she got a plan. Haerin was confused. "What are you- OW!" Haerin yelped as she held her arm to her stomach falling on her knees.

Danielle bit her and took this chance to run she knew Haerin was faster but she bit her because she knew she would take time getting up from the bite. She didn't intentionally mean to bite her hard she just needed to escape the cat eyed girl.

She saw the trio and went behind Hyein. "Hyein please hide me I beg you!" Danielle pleaded and Hyein was too dumbfounded.

"Why??" Hyein asked. "So like.. I may have annoyed your sister and took something from her!" Danielle half rapped.

"What did you take?" Minji asked her this time. "Her book...? I didn't think it would be that big of a deal you know!" Danielle whined.

"You're done for.." Hyein said. "Is that why I saw you on top of her at lunch earlier? I thought you guys were making out.." Hanni said in her perspective.

"Hanni what the fuck!?" Both Minji and Hyein said simultaneously. "Hanni what..." Danielle said her jaw quite literally dropped.

"Hyein! Have you seen Danielle?" Haerin called out to her and quickly ran to her as Danielle hid behind Hyein.

"No. Why? What did she do?" Hyein said keeping her cool as Minji and Hanni were pretending to have a conversation about how Hannis non-existent hamster jumped off the rooftop while she took it for a walk.

"That fucker took my book and bit my arm so hard!" Haerin answered showing her arm which had a red mark on it, with obvious anger in her tone.

"Holy shit." Hyein mouthed out the words shocked. "Well I didn't see her. I think she entered the chemistry lab? She always hangs out there I guess." Hyein said quickly regaining her composure

Haerin gave her a thumbs up and walked away still holding her arm while bitting her lip from the pain.

"Ok what the fuckity fuck!?" Hanni said to Danielle as soon as Haerin left. "Same reaction as her." Minji said in the calmest tone.

"Since when did you bite her?! You didn't mention that!" Hyein joined in pushing Danielle from behind her.

"Uhm.. so I may have foreshadowed a few key points you know!" Danielle said scratching the back of her neck nervously.

"You're actually gonna be so dead once Haerin finds out where you are.." Minji said and facepalmed herself in disbelief

"The thing is.." Danielle said cutting off as they were all looking at her with a judging look.

"I know I'm done for.." 😔
