Ash-wood Manor, a grandiose testament to wealth and legacy, hid truths that would be soon to be known. In the mean time, there was a will to change the world according to her, she considered. Linnet FitzGerald a dominant young girl who believed in what she thought. A girl loyal only to herself, ambitious yet self-centered who only put her faith in solitude.

Linnet was the only daughter to the Rubeus Lineage.
Mr. Rubeus was mostly out of town busy with his business while Mrs. Rubeus was occupied with her social devotion. Linnet was just a little girl who got matured too early than she had expected. She believed that playing with friends or even socializing in school was all just crap. Even though she had a friend Hannah who she met occasionally and she would try her best to avoid her.

"According to my findings the answer of the whole class is wrong", said Linnet in her dulcet tone which she hated for a fact she was adored for. Everybody in the class felt offended Because all of them thought that she was just a rich stubborn brat who wasn't anyone could feel comfortable around. The class then felt silenced for a minute while the cool breeze of the town, Cara-Draíochta whistled.

One student stood and said;"Mam how can she be correct whereas more than half of the class is wrong?". Miss Elizabeth asked Linnet how is she correct while the other 40 students are wrong and she confidently showed her work to her. Miss Elizabeth was quite surprised by the fact the whole class was actually wrong and so was she herself. Miss Elizabeth corrected everyone's answers and explained the question using Linnet's notebook.

Linnet was not feeling proud as she had some other plans in her mind still pending. She had her fencing class after school that she begged her parents for and then grooming class she hated because it was interfering the thoughts of her ambitions as she was only motivated in being an elegant little lady and not a curious mind full of herself and her actions. Linnet wanted to become a the owner of the business of the FitzGeralds and explore the endless possibilities in her life but according to her family traditions she was ought to become a house wife and nothing else. She wanted to show her family that she wasn't the same.

Yet, her parents always told her she was just and ordinary girl and not to be proud of her wealth that she was born with and was whispered tales of her ancestors' sweat-soaked labor, their hands calloused from toil, their spirits resilient against every storm that came their way.

"Maybe if you are ok with leaving this class room?", a voice said behind her. Linnet rushed to see who said that and found the janitor. "Oh... my bad..", she gasped and packed her stuff.

"How did I not even notice that I spent an hour daydreaming today?!?", she asked herself as she grabbed her phone to check up on the time. "Gosh! I almost forgot! Father's friend is coming today for dinner, I have to get home."

When Linnet got home, she found the dinning room filled with numerous scrumptious dishes that her father always fancied. The living room was covered in exotic smells of the scented candles lit. They were so many that even if a person stole twenty nobody would notice a penny.

A young woman in her 20s appeared in front of Linnet and took her bag away and another appeared and gave her a beige colored dress with navy blue lace on it which gave it an ethereal look. "Oh my!", Linnet said in surprise. "Mrs.Rubues brought it from her last trip to Italy", exclaimed Agatha. "She really has a great taste in lace dresses." Said Agatha.

"Affirmative", said Linnet as she headed towards her room.

Linnet's room was a more of a world of its own. It was the size of an ordinary house yet smaller than the manor. In this domain of this practical yet girlish sanctuary, the walls don a subtle hue, a whisper of green and a gentle stroke of blue, embodying a delicate balance between functionality and femininity. Within this space, a sturdy desk stood as a testament to practicality, accompanied by a cozy chair inviting moments of contemplation and study. Personal touches adorned the room, a notice board for notes, gallery of memories capturing her essence and very little of her parents and a trapdoor right underneath a Luxurious bed which hid it from prying eyes and the bed with a magnificent canopy adorned with intricate designs towered above, The bedding, plush and velvety, invited one to sink into a world of comfort.
