A serene beach town, where the ocean meets the land in a beautiful, unending dance. The BTS members have gathered for a much-needed break from their hectic schedules.

The sun dipped low on the horizon, painting the sky with hues of orange and pink. The waves lapped gently against the shore as the members of BTS lounged on the beach, enjoying the last remnants of daylight. Jin flipped through his phone, J-Hope and RM were engaged in a playful debate about the best beach snacks, while Suga sat off to the side, lost in his thoughts.

“Hey, where’s Taehyung and Jungkook?” Jimin asked, scanning the beach. They had been playing in the water for a while now, and the rest of the members began to feel a strange sense of unease.

“Probably just messing around,” Yoongi replied, barely looking up. “They always do this.”

But as the minutes ticked by, the absence of their two youngest members became more apparent.

“Let’s go check on them,” Namjoon suggested, standing up and brushing off sand from his shorts. The others nodded in agreement, following him toward the water’s edge.

As they approached, they noticed something unusual. The water shimmered under the fading light, and the sound of laughter echoed, but it was unlike any laughter they had heard before. It was melodic, almost enchanting.

“Guys, do you hear that?” J-Hope asked, tilting his head curiously.

“Yeah, it’s coming from over there,” Jimin pointed toward a secluded cove further down the beach. The members exchanged glances, a mix of intrigue and worry washing over them.

They made their way to the cove, and as they rounded the rocks, what they saw left them speechless.

Taehyung and Jungkook were in the water, but they weren’t just splashing around like normal. They were swimming gracefully, their bodies moving in perfect harmony with the waves. The light of the setting sun caught on something shimmering beneath the surface, and as they got closer, the truth became clear: Taehyung and Jungkook weren’t just playing in the water—they were mermen.

The sight was surreal. Taehyung’s tail glimmered with iridescent colors, reflecting the light in a mesmerizing display, while Jungkook’s tail was a deep, oceanic blue, both beautiful and powerful. They were laughing, their voices mingling with the sound of the ocean, completely unaware of the astonished stares from their bandmates.

“Hyung! You’re here!” Jungkook called out, his voice a mix of surprise and excitement as he swam closer. “Come join us!”

“Join you? You’re… you’re mermen!” Namjoon exclaimed, still processing the revelation.

Taehyung swam up beside Jungkook, his eyes sparkling with mischief. “Yeah! Isn’t it amazing? We’ve been hiding this for a while now.”

“Why didn’t you tell us?” Jimin asked, trying to keep his voice steady despite the whirlwind of emotions inside him.

“We wanted to keep it a secret for a little longer,” Taehyung said, his expression softening. “It’s not something we could just casually mention. Plus, we wanted to enjoy our time together without worrying about anyone finding out.”

“Together?” Suga echoed, a hint of suspicion creeping into his tone.

Jungkook and Taehyung exchanged a glance, and Jungkook nodded slightly. “We’re… in a relationship. It just felt right to be together like this.”

The members stood in stunned silence. The realization hit them hard. Their youngest members, who they had watched grow and evolve, had found love in the most unexpected way.

“Okay, wait,” J-Hope interjected, trying to process everything. “So, you’re both mermen, and you’re in a relationship. How does that even work?”

Taehyung laughed, his voice bright and carefree. “It’s like any other relationship, really! We just happen to have tails and live in the ocean.”

“But what about concerts? The fans? Your lives on land?” RM asked, concern etching his features.

“We can come and go,” Jungkook explained. “We have the ability to transform. We can be human when we need to be. The ocean is our home, but so is this—this life with you guys.”

Suga crossed his arms, a smirk playing on his lips. “So, what you’re saying is that you can go back and forth? You’re like… part-time mermen?”

“Something like that,” Taehyung replied, grinning widely.

The tension began to fade as the members processed the information. They were still in shock, but now there was a sense of wonder and acceptance.

“Okay, so what can you do?” Jimin asked, his curiosity piqued.

Taehyung and Jungkook exchanged excited glances. “We can communicate with sea creatures, control the water to some extent, and—” Taehyung took a deep breath, “we can sing. Our voices carry through the ocean, and it’s beautiful.”

“Let’s hear it!” Jin encouraged, his eyes sparkling with enthusiasm.

Taking a deep breath, Taehyung and Jungkook began to sing. The melody flowed like the waves, enchanting and ethereal. The other members watched in awe, the sound wrapping around them like a warm embrace. It was a song of the ocean, filled with love, freedom, and the magic of their bond.

When they finished, the beach was silent, the only sound being the gentle crash of the waves.

“That was… incredible,” Namjoon said, breaking the spell. “You both have such a gift.”

“Thanks, hyung,” Jungkook replied shyly, the tips of his ears turning red.

“We’re just happy to share this part of our lives with you,” Taehyung added, his gaze sincere.

As the sun finally dipped below the horizon, the members gathered closer, wrapping their arms around the two youngest. They were a family, bound not just by music but by secrets, love, and now, a deeper understanding of one another.

“Just promise us one thing,” Suga said, his voice serious yet playful. “If you ever plan on taking us for a swim in the ocean, let us know first. I don’t want to be caught off guard again.”

Laughter erupted among them, the earlier tension dissipating into the night. The bond they shared had grown stronger, and as the stars twinkled above, Taehyung and Jungkook felt a sense of belonging—both on land and beneath the waves.

For the first time, they didn’t have to hide. They were free to be themselves, together, and that was all that mattered.
