"Liz! I forgot to write my notes earlier. Will you lend me yours? I promise to give it back," Rei gave the blonde her infamous pout, which always works on the girl.

Liz rolls her eyes, attempting to fight back the wide smile that's about to show on her face, but fails because Rei's just too cute to handle.

"You know that this excuse is not working on me anymore, do you? But you should be thankful that I'm used to it." Liz shuffles in her bag and gave the smaller girl her notes on the lesson the instructor discussed today.

Rei beams brightly at her as she hugs the notebook to her chest.

"Thanks! You're the best, Liz."

It was always this scenario every weekdays. The two girls shared a class together and would always sit beside each other all the time. The opportunity bringing them closer as day goes by.

Liz gave Rei a fond smile as she began putting her stuff on her bag since class ended already. Rei did the same.

"Would you like to walk with me as I head out?" Liz asks after her task. She gazed at the girl beside her, watching her every move. Rei moved like a princess, a total opposite to how she acts around most of the time.

Rei turns to her and nodded with a grin, "Sure."

After finishing, the two girls walked in silence as they went out of their classroom. The hallway was a chaos, a scene not new to them since it is dismissal time and kids are eager to get out of school.

Still, they walked as if it's just them, not minding the world and just enjoying each other's presence.

"Well, I'll get going now, Liz. See you tomorrow!" Rei was the first one to say bye since she was riding a bus, and Liz's home is just blocks away from their school so she uses her bike.

"See you tomorrow, Rei. And don't forget to write the notes," Liz waves at her with a smile.

"Of course, I will. Bye!" Rei waves once more, a smile gracing her face as she skips toward the bus's entrance.

As soon as she settles in her seat, she sighed and looked down on the notebook she had in her hands. She smiled and held the notes in her arms, smiling at the thought that Liz never complained at her for not writing her own notes.

Could she blame Rei, though?

Rei has been drawn into her since day one. When she first set her eyes on Liz, it was like 'love at first sight'. And when their eyes met for the first time, time slowed down. It was like Rei could only hear her heart beating loudly in her chest. Like a fire in her heart suddenly got lit up.

When Rei finally snapped out of it, she shyly looked around for a vacant seat, ignoring the space that was beside the blonde girl, who was looking at her and expecting her to take it. Rei frowned when she saw one but it was on the last row.

Without much thought, she dragged her feet towards that direction... only to be stopped by someone speaking softly to her.

"There's still space here, if you'd like. It's more convenient and would hear the lessons clearly."

It was the blonde girl. Rei got stoned in her feet and almost forgot how to breathe. The girl is looking at her, moreso talking to her. Rei wanted to squeal, but she had to contain it.

"Oh, thank you." She shortly replied and cautiously sat beside the girl while hugging her bag to her chest. Well... this is awkward.

She fails to see how the girl would steal glances at her, to see if she's okay.
