⚠️𝐓𝐰 𝐒𝐀⚠️

I wake with tears in my eyes with a bittersweet feeling after realizing it was a dream.
I check the clock. 7:32. And shut my eyes for 3 more minutes of sleep.

|Time passes|

"August wake up," I feel shaking as I realize it's my sister with her backpack and uniform on, already dressed, "shit," I mutter as I see the time is 7:56.

I run to the bathroom to brush out my dark brown waves and put contacts over my equally as dark eyes. I throw on my uniform and head to school.

|At school|

As I walk up to the building I prepare myself to face my class mates as I walk in late.

"There he is," the teacher points out even though I tried to quietly slip in my seat.

All eyes on me.

I lay my head down to divert myself from the feeling of attention on me.

The bell rings for lunch and I put my notes away and take out my lunch to eat in the classroom.

15 minutes after everyone leaves a group of boys walked in. My old friends. They walk up to me and I try to get up and leave a hand pulls me back to my chair, " where do you think you're going" Kody sneers. "I-i," I try to push out the words but a tightness fills my throat. A hot tear rolls down my cheek as the boys pin me to the wall as Kody comes closer. "N-no!" I manage to get out. "What, thought you'd like this August, since you have a thing for guys" I freeze as he puts his hand down my waistband "a-aah...s-STOP!" I say as I start shaking. Memorizes from the party 2 weeks ago fill my head and try to push him off but my legs are numb. All I can do is cry.

"Ngh" I moan as he goes faster, tears turn to buckets as I sob. "BAM!!" The door slides open and my desk mate, the basketball captain walked in. His eyes widened in shock as we met eyes.

"Cyrus!!" Kody panicked as he a his boys let me go and back up. "What the hell?!" Cyrus says as the grabs Kody by the shirt. He glances over at me notices how much I'm shaking and crying. "What the fuck!!" He shouts as he raises his fist to Kody who flinches. Kody puts his hands to cover his face which clearly doesn't work as Cyrus socs him right in the jaw. After that he rushes to me who hadn't processed anything and was starting to have a panic attack.

"Deep breaths August, breath," Cyrus tries to calm me down. He hugs me and pats my back as I cry into his shoulder.

"Ring" goes the first bell. My crying stopped by now and I got up hiding from embarrassment. "Hey August are you okay," Cyrus sat next to me patting my back. I flinch. "Sorry dude Im just worried about you," he said seriously. The teacher walked in and noticed the gloomy atmosphere."Did something happen?" He asked. "Yes, Kody was-," I stopped him. He looked at my worried face and told the teacher Kody had fell and he was worried because he had to go to the infirmary. The teacher nodded and then the second bell rang. "Actually teach can we go check on him," he asked. The teacher agreed and Cyrus pulled my hand and led me out.
