After Y/N finished filling out the sheet on the clipboard, she handed it back to the receptionist, and the lady smiled in return as she took it.
"Okay, ma'am, we'll review the application and your documents and give you a call, maybe tomorrow or within a few days." Y/N told the receptionist to have a nice day before making her way to the door, and the woman bit her lip while watching her leave.
Once she made it to her new black Toyota Camry that she purchased a week ago, she got in and drove off with heavy thoughts on her mind.
It's been two weeks since Y/N was back at that house once she saw that necklace that hung around Tyla's neck, and when she kissed August, Y/N couldn't stay another minute there.
So she has been spending nights at the hotel apartment, working overtime to take her mind off of it, and apartment searching in the mix.
When she saw what happened, she was heartbroken but pushed her feelings to the side because the woman was in a relationship with a man that she's about to get married to, and there was nothing she could do about it.
Y/N was going to tell Tyla how she has been feeling lately about her but ended up being cut off due to August knocking on the door, which sort of pissed her off.
As she paid attention to the road, she started to think about what Tyla was crying to her about in the bedroom. How can you have a good woman at home with the whole package but still wind up fumbling her?
Yesterday Tyla sent Y/N a text asking if she was okay, but Y/N just left her on read since she really wasn't in the mood to speak to her or anybody.
When Tyla saw it, she stopped texting her, assuming everything was okay since the girl saw her text even though it wasn't.
She felt her phone buzzing in her pocket while she was stopped at a red light. Y/N pulled out her phone, and clicked answer once she saw that it was Gio's contact name.
"What it do?" Y/N greeted her with the phone up to her ear before driving off again.
"Aye Y/N you busy?" Gio asked instantly after hearing Y/N's voice.
"Yeah, I'm about to go see somebody. Why?" The girl furrowed her eyebrows in slight concern.
"Well, Tyla wants you to meet her back at her house, like right now she just called Naomi to tell me not too long ago." Y/N scoffed when she first heard the name being mentioned. "Damn, what's wrong, y'all on bad terms or something?"
"Nah, but she want me to come down there for what?" Y/N questioned her as she pulled up in front of an unfamiliar house.
"Shit, I don't know. She just told me to tell you that." The girl smacked her teeth at the response, though she did miss her a lot.
