chapter 4 | the prank of castlecoming

"Cmon Morgie, we have to hurry!" "You know how my legs are!" He says, as if trying to grab his hand and take him with me faster. We finally arrived to the dance. "Wow, this is nice." Morgie said.  I agree. Even me, Hook. Captain of the seas thought it was nice in here. Uliana comes up to Morgie and I. "You two were almost late. Go distract Bridget while I bake the cupcake with the spell book. Then once you see Hades and Mal bring Ella into the kitchen, you guys CAN'T let Bridget see. Once I give her the cupcake, 10 minutes after, she'll transform while she's preforming her shuffle of whatever thing. You guys got it?" Morgie and I look at each other, then Mal and Hades, then Uliana. "Umm.. yep!" The both of us say. Uliana tells us to go to Bridget. Morgie and I are renting on who should talk first. "I think it should be you Hook, you're good at doing the flirting stuff." You're sure you won't mind if I.. do do the flirting?" I said to Morgie. "Of course I won't, I know you don't mean it like that and it's for the prank. Go ahead!" We walk up to Bridget as she gets punch from the drink table. "Uhh.. hey.. Bri Bri!" I said. It's so hard trying to be nice to her. "Oh, hey James and Morgie!" Bridget said. "Soo.. how's that punch. Is it good?" Morgie and I say. Uliana looks at us. She tries to tell us to keep Bridget from looking behind her because Hases and Mal were bringing Ella into the kitchen to do the spell on her. "Oh, yes it is good! It's the perfect amount of-" "Um.. HEY how-are you exited to preform your shuffle dance thingy? You must be." I interrupt. I think it's working. She's not paying attention to behind her. "Yeah I am exited! A bit nervous but it's okay. Why are you guys being so.. nice? To me." "You're our friend Bri Bri!" Morgie says. Ella comes up behind Bridget with the "cursed" cupcake. I'm assuming they made Ella bring the dish out so Bridget thinks it was her ten minutes from now. How did they do the spell so fast? I better not ask. "Bridget! I know this is your specialty, but I wanted to try it myself. A little surprise for you before your big performance! I give you these homemade peacock-feather cupcakes!" Ella said to Bridget. I'm still in absolute shock this might work. "Aww Ella! You didn't have to do this, it means so much." We're all staring at Bridget to take a bite out of the cupcake, hoping the prank will all come together. If it works, Principal Merlin will think we're the innocent ones. And we'll break up a friendship that would've lasted forever.

She finally takes a bite out of the cursed cupcake. "Wow, it's delicious! Thank you, Ella."  "You're welcome. Oh it's time for you to go up and preform your dance!" Ella said. Wow, even I would believe that if I was Bridget. She gets up on stage as everyone in Merlin Academy is watching. "Shuffle of Love" starts playing. All of the VKs are trying not to laugh. It was pretty funny, but we had to look innocent.

One minute goes by, and she starts burping, screaming in agony as she transforms into this green, ugly monster. Everyone starts laughing and pointing. She became so big, she fell of the stage because she was almost as big as it. Ella tries to help her but Bridget pushed her away. "ELLA, WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO ME!" Bridget says growling. Eventually, Principal Merlin rushes to his office to grab a spell book to turn her back. Ella's spell wore off too. Bri, I'm so sorry. I didn't know.." "DIDN'T KNOW?! You EMBARRASSED me infront of the whole school and now everyone think I'm a JOKE because of YOU." Bridget cries running off. "Bridget no, come back!" "Leave her." Uliana said. People were still laughing. On and on. Just because of a cursed cupcake. Did we just pull the prank of the century?
