Music thumped through the club, pounding through her blood as she stood behind the curtain awaiting her cue. Peeping through she watched as her friend and colleague danced to an exotic beat, her thick black hair flowing like a fountain down her back, her long legs encased in PU and a long whip in her hands which she was currently threading through her fingers as she gyrated on the stage. Amazon as she was known out front always drew the men in; she was tall, athletic and beautiful, much like her name suggested. Dido though, as Alyssa knew her was kind and the best friend she could have asked for when things were tough. It was Dido who had helped to bring her here, into this world that existed behind the closed doors of society where anything was possible and fantasies were brought to life. A month ago she had been in dire straits, working in a bar in town earning less for a week's work than she did in a couple of hours here at Fantasy Bookings. Dido had seen her outside the bar one night after closing, after she'd collected her pitiful wage, crying softly to herself. She'd never forgotten the way the young woman had taken her under her wing, taken her to an all night diner where she bought her a coffee and a sandwich and got her to open up. Alyssa didn't make a habit of opening up, especially about the circumstances she found herself in but she told Dido enough that her new friend knew she needed help. The following day Dido introduced Alyssa to a man called Nick who had opened a new club in town by the name of Fantasty Bookings and was looking for fresh acts. Each act had to be the embodiment of a fantasy and when she turned up in a school uniform sucking an oversized lollipop he was immediately interested. Dido had helped her choose her outfit and prop, had shown her some basic dance moves and Alyssa was a fast learner. Maybe at one time she would have been embarrassed to perform in front of a man but when you were desperate embarrassment just didn't factor any more. And she was desperate.

Alyssa's first meeting with Nick had been interesting. She'd only ever stripped for an ex boyfriend before and was a little nervous but Nick had quickly put her at ease and suggested that Dido dance alongside her if that made her feel better. She'd never forget his eyes raking over her as he leaned back against the bar to watch her and in that moment she'd experienced a feeling of complete power that was exhilarating and frightening all at once. Nick had been beaming by the time she'd finished and had offered her a job on the spot, saying he loved her innocent look and her not so innocent routine. When he explained how much she would be earning Alyssa's heart had soared and the butterflies in her stomach dissipated almost instantly. Nick went through her contract with her, detailing what kind of touch was allowed and not allowed in the club. Each of the dancers had a theme and performed using that theme. Hers was to be the naughty innocent with a streak of mischief; she could be a school girl or a cheerleader or even an office temp getting a rise out of her boss. It was a character that leaned into her natural personality and Nick laughed when she observed this, saying the best characters were always based on real life. He explained that he had been a wrestler for many years and had once taken on the role of an authority figure which had suited him well because it was based in fact. He explained that the men in the club could not touch her unless they'd paid for a special and that the specials limited touch to her sitting in their lap for a lapdance during which they couldn't use their hands or their mouths to touch her. She could touch them but not intimately and relationships with clients though not forbidden were not encouraged either.

"Blurring the lines can be dangerous," Nick explained, his English accent fascinating her as he spoke. "So you can touch yourself while you're performing; in fact I'd encourage you to touch yourself to feed their fantasies but don't do anything you're not comfortable with or it'll show."

"I think you should give her a week before you introduce her to anyone for a special," Dido commented and Nick smiled across at her readily.

"Probably wise," he agreed. "And you can do a trial run. One week and then a one night special with someone I can trust and then you can decide if you're staying. How does that sound?"
