The Beginning

It all started 4 years ago. I was running through the forest with tears in my eyes. My parents tricked me. I have just turned 18 years old. I woke up this morning and I was told to get dressed and meet my parents at a place for a birthday party. I got dressed in my best clothes and went to the place and while mingling I found out that it was an engagement party. My engagement party to a man that I had never met. When I confronted my parents about it then said that I was useless any other way.
If they wanted me to marry so badly they should've set up a blind date not an arranged marriage. I felt so hurt, betrayed and unwanted that I ran away the whole town with my parents in the lead chased after me but I ran into the forbidden four seasons forest where I knew no one would follow. People in my town were scared of the forest saying there were demons and monsters that could kill me within the blink of an eye. I didn't care, I was already unwanted, a pawn in a game that I was born into. Nothing could be worse than that.
I ran and ran until I felt like I couldn't breathe. After what felt like ages I found a clearing.

I sat down to rest it was pretty and peaceful and I was so tired before I knew it I fell asleep curled up on the soft warm ground. I don't know how long I slept all I know is that I started to stir because I felt eyes on me. I woke up, sitting up and rubbing my eyes.
It was dark my only light wax the light of the bright full moon shinning above me. As my eyes adjusted and I looked around the clearing I ended up locking eyes with someone. I couldn't see them clearly they were standing at the very edge of the clearing I could faintly make out that it was a male. As soon as he saw that I had woken up and saw him he bolted away. So I got up and did what I would come to regret I let my curiosity get the best of me and ran after this man. It took me half a year to figure out that he did this deliberately. Everytime I thought I had lost him he would appear letting me see him before running off again keeping my curiosity peaked.
Finally he stopped in a clearing. This clearing was different then the one I had fallen asleep in. It had a weird aura. I should've run away at that moment when I felt that weird aura but I didnt I was too mesmerized. It was like I had stepped into a whole other world. There was a beautiful lake reflecting a crescent moon. The moon in this clearing was a crescent and not a full like the one in the clearing that I had fallen asleep in. And there floating over the lake in a way that made it look like he was walking on water was the man. He floated towards me slowly. He was handsome
