Chapter 4~

Your P.O.V-

I got out of the shower and got dressed.'Hey!My neko ears and tail are soft now.'They have never been this soft in forever!I went to the small kitchen,got some of the bread,and ate it as a little snack.Then I remembered,"Now I don't have any money left.I need to start working.But my parents might find me.And they may not accept a little girl as an employe.But what if I'm really good at the job?Wait but that still leaves the problem of my parents finding me.What should I do?"I sighed and layed on my bed.'Wow I never knew a bed could be so comfortable.Its better than sleeping on a floor.'I couldn't help but fall asleep.Then I entered my dream world.However the place in my dream was odd.I seemed to be wearing a strange outfit.It was a short brown jacket with a pair of small printed wings on it.And I was also wearing white pants with straps around it.I was also carrying two metal swords with two metal boxes,one one each hip."What on earth is this?"I said.Then I felt the ground shake harshly.I looked up and saw a giant!It was weird looking.It started running to my direction.Just when it's foot was going to stomp on me I closed my eyes and expected the worse.But nothing happened."(F/N)!Are you ok?Open your eyes!"I heard familiar voice but it was a little deeper than usual.I opened my eyes and saw a worried Armin carrying me while flying to a roof by using the metal boxes that shot a rope.My eyes widened.My body moved on its own and quickly got out of Armin's hold."Im fine.Thank you Armin for saving me from that Titan.I owe you one."
I said.But I didn't mean to say it.Its like my whole body was doing what it wanted.'Titan?Is that what those nasty giants are called?Wait Armin is wearing the same outfit as me...'
Armin was also taller and I was just a bit shorter than he was.'Wait my ears and tail!They are not hidden!Why am I not trying to hide them?!'Armin leaned in front of me getting closer to my face.He put his forehead on mine."Don't forget (f/n),ill always protect you.Always."His lips were getting closer to mine but before our lips could come in contact I woke up."What kind of dream was that!"I said feeling my face burn.I looked out the window and saw that the sun was barley coming up.'Did I really sleep that long?'I got out from bed and stretched.Then I remembered.Armin is coming over today in the afternoon!I put on the cute hat and tucked my tail in my big shirt.(You're still eight so the big shirt almost looks like a dress on you.It only stops at your knees.)I went outside and decided to pick some flowers for Armin.They were all so colorful and pretty.I picked a couple of them and went back inside.I put the flowers on my nightstand and saw the newspaper.'Since I have a lot of time left to spare I might as well read it.'I grabbed it and saw the front page with wide shocked eyes.It said,"A dead body of a female said to be in her 40's at a house up the hill.The corpse had multiple stab wounds and bruises.Investigators asked the neighbors if they had known the women in the house.They said that she was married to a man who was three years older than her.The couple had also had a child but the neighbors have never seen him/her.Investigators are saying that the husband may have murdered his own wife.They still have yet to know why.They are searching for this man."They showed a picture of my father next to the picture of my old house."Please if you have any information as to where this male is please contact us at the main building."I stared at the newspaper in shock."Did father really kill mother?Wait...after how they have been treating me through out my whole life,I still care?No!I shouldn't care!And I never will!"I yelled as I started crying.The date of when this was written was the morning after I ran away.'Do they know if they found father?'I wiped my tears away,put my hood on,and ran outside.I ran to the place where I remember getting the newspaper.When I arrived to the place called,"News of today."I saw a stack of newspapers on a table.I grabbed one without being seen and ran back to my cottage.I slammed the door behind me and looked at the front cover.Nothing about the murder.I turned to the next page and saw it.It said,"Dead corpse of the husband has been found floating on the 'Lake of petals'.The corpse of the male also had multiple stab wounds but his whole chest was ripped open and his face was sliced.There was no evidence left of anyone else who did this.Police are still searching for more clues as to who is responsible to these brutal murders.If you have any information about this,Please contact us at the main building."

"What's going on?Why were they murdered?And that lake was the one I got water from the other day....The date of this was yesterday night.If that person killed my parents then are they going to kill me next?No but no one has ever seen me with my parents before.And my parents never introduced people to me.So it's impossible.I shouldn't worry about it.This may seem a little harsh but...Im glad because now I can be free.I can try and get a job now."I sighed.I took my hood off and hat."Im...Free."
