❆PROLOGUE❆

JUVIA

"Looks like it's raining again, would you like to turn the car around?" My secretary and best friend Meredy asked me still her hands on the car maneuver while I sat on the shotgun seat beside her staring at the droplets of rain falling against the window pane.

"No need and besides we're late for the meeting with Architect Milkovich. I don't want to move the date again or else we would be late for our estimated deadline." I told her while running through the calendar app on my phone. "Alright, anyways Juv-chan you really need to take a breather some times you know?" She said and turned her attention to the road as the traffic light had changed into color green. 

"I can't help it Meredy-chan, I have come this far enough and yet there are still a lot of obstacles that just keeps on coming" I whined and let out a heavy sigh. I have been planning to opening up a cafe, as it was my dream to do so when I was little. But, I didn't expect it that it would take this long. 

"Well, that's how life works Juv-chan. It's not always gonna be smooth in terms of its flow." She said.  After 10 minutes of car ride, we have finally arrived in Magnolia city's east side. 

Meredy and I both went out the car with our umbrellas up as there was still a bit of drizzle falling from the sky and then started walking inside an empty 2 store building, in there we saw a purple haired maiden with a white headband wearing a terno white suit with a blue print bag on her left hand and hand bag on the right. 

"Oh my, the rain really hasn't stop. Architect Ultear! Our apologies for being tardy." Meredy apologized while closing her umbrella and offering her hand for a handshake with the Architect. 

"No worries Miss Meredy, I also just got here." The lady smiled and took Meredy-chan's hand to shake it. "Ah! I would like to introduce your client for this project, Miss Juvia Lockser heiress to the Lock and Rain Corporations. I lightly elbowed her as I felt a little embarrassed with her description of me, it was a bit exaggerated! 

"My, what a pleasure to meet the famous Miss Juvia Lockser! Architect Ultear Milkovich, looking forward to work with you" Architect Milkovich smiled as she introduced herself and shook my hand. 

"Nice to meet you as well, Architect Ultear! Just call me, Juvia ^^" I smiled and shook her hand. "I can't wait to turn this place into a beautiful cafe where everyone can dine and even just lounge to study or catch up with their friends" I excitedly told her while looking around the place. 

"It's nice to hear that Juvia-san! I already prepared some initial blueprints containing the designs for both floors of the building." Ultear said while laying out the blue papers on the table nearby the door. 

"Oh wow, Juv-Chan looks like we really won't be behind schedule after all!" Meredy-chan squealed while doing a mini-clap. "I smiled at her and to Architect Ultear

Architect Ultear was going on over the details of the first floor, I love how it coincided with my preferences in terms of color and theme for the furniture, floors, and walls. I really wanted to go for a garden themed cafe in honor for my mother who was fond of flowers specifically her love for blue roses.
