You stepped out of the cafe, stretching your arms after a long shift. The cool evening air was a welcome relief from the warmth inside. As you looked around, you spotted Sunwoo leaning casually against a lamppost, a grin spreading across his face as he saw you.
"Hey there, hard worker!" he called out, pushing off the post and walking over to you. "How was your shift?"
"Tiring," you admitted, smiling despite your fatigue. "But it's over now."
Sunwoo slung an arm around your shoulders, steering you towards the nearby convenience store. "Perfect timing. I thought you might need a little pick-me-up. How about a snack run?"
You laughed, leaning into him as you walked. "You always know how to cheer me up."
As you entered the store, Sunwoo's eyes lit up. "Okay, let's see... Ice cream, snacks, drinks – you name it, we get it." He grabbed a basket and handed it to you with a flourish.
You wandered the aisles together, Sunwoo making exaggerated comments on every item. "Oh, look! Your favorite chips! And, ooh, we can't forget these chocolate bars – essential fuel for post-work recovery."
You chuckled, dropping the items into the basket. "Are you sure this isn't just an excuse to stock up on your favorite snacks?"
Sunwoo feigned shock, placing a hand over his heart. "How dare you question my noble intentions? This is all for you, my dear."
You rolled your eyes playfully but couldn't help smiling at his antics. By the time you reached the checkout, the basket was filled with an assortment of treats. Sunwoo paid for everything, insisting it was his treat.
Outside the store, you found a bench and sat down together, digging into your spoils. Sunwoo unwrapped an ice cream bar and handed it to you before opening his own. "To surviving another day," he said, raising his ice cream in a mock toast.
"To the best boyfriend ever," you countered, clinking your ice cream against his.
As you sat there, enjoying your snacks and the easy conversation, you felt the stress of the day melt away.
"You know," Sunwoo said between bites, "we should make this a regular thing. After every shift, convenience store run. What do you think?"
You smiled, nodding. "I think it's a great idea. Thanks, Sunwoo. For everything."
He reached over, ruffling your hair affectionately. "Anything for you, Y/N. Now, let's finish these snacks before they melt!"
