This is hilariously 😆 i literally scripted an whole ass fictional interview of Rahul Dravid on break fast with champions in the alternate universe. I FeeL like im just cms aways from looseing my mind after writing this . At mumbai when Gourav hosted the victory ceremony this thing was going inside my head.I don't know what the fuckisthis don't judge me
This is completely my story line not gona follow this universe's time line or events just a few real-life informations are included.

Gourav Kapoor was doing an interview of Rahul Dravid.

GK : everyone was asking me why you never come to this show!
RD : (laughing shyly) well why didn't I! maybe because you never asked me .....
Gourav was taken of guard . he can't help but laugh at this silly jab from Rahul
What? it took you fifty-three episodes to ask me?
Gk : that's such a gangster thing to say (laughing). Now tell me how are the things going ? like life ,coaching and kids ...
Rd : life... life has been good... may I say busier (laughing)
And as you know I enjoy coaching.and now with the kkr... it feels nice.
Gk : you coach team India for long period of time how was that experience? How different is from franchise cricket?
RD: its a lot different. First of all with the national team you are one road for 11 months . I was lucky my boys are all grown ups when I accepted the job...

Gk: dada said he was after you for more than two years but you refused because probably yash'S board exams?

Rd: yeah kind of but also I was not in a clear frame of mind too . there was a lot to consider. but the team under rohit was incredible. they are verry sweet and passionate about the game.they are very genuine as persons too you know ..... and as a coach you know there are not much pranks to get targeted for , compair to as a player so less things to worry about,haha..
Gk : you enjoy coaching more or ....?
Rd : oh I enjoy coaching because I loved playing, cant really compare the two.

Gk : how about your boys ? they are really making there presence felt at the moment. maybe yashman will become the next captain for india ?he was phenomenal from past two year and shubman is in the league of legends.....

Rd: I don't really have much things to say about them you know. For Subhi ,he work so hard on his skills and he does that consistently . Sourav also really looked well after him during his early days . . he practically grows up with sourav more than he does with me,sadly... Now about yash ? to be absolutely honest about him ,though he grow up with me ,i never expect him to even pick the bat let alone play cricket as he was crazy footbal enthusiast ...
Gk: like his father!
Rd : exactly like his father.so whatever he is doing only god knows how he manages.
Gk : life comes to a circal right , dada used to be a football tragic who ended up in cricket now his son is on the same path,amazing.
Rd : and I was a hockey tragic though but none of my boys picked on that (haha)
Gk: haha true ! so you never coached your own boys before you became the headcoach for team india?
Rd: no .even though subhi was in the nca in the begning of his carrer when I was directing the nca but never really get any chance to teach him anything as he was in his recovery .(rahul gives his toothy smile.)
Gk: haha ! india's argueably the best coach and one of the best player never coaches his own sons, like just wow.only you can do this.

Well now we have a segment that called unfiltered .I will asked you some question you have TO answer them honestly . you can choose one word ,one line or a passage to answer but you have to be totally honest about it .as the name suggested no filter allowed.

Rd: okay.
Gk: your fondest memory of cricket?
Rd: my debut in bangaluru.my father came to watch that match.
Gk: where you got a ninety five if im not wrong.(Rahul noded) Hey I also heard a story about your debut that you are supposed to debut two matches earlier but that didn't happen!
Rahul noded a nostalgic smile make his way on his lips .
Gk: can we know the reasons?
Rd: well you need to ask that to the guy from kolkata who was captain then , you know !
Gk: ohh ! I actually do asked him he said ki you picked on an injury hence the dealy.
Rd: nice excuse...
Gk:that's not the whole truth , is it?
Rd: you need to ask him that...
Gk: okay! i will surely ask him this next time. do you still give him an earful about it ?
Rd: oh every time , every chance I get .he deserves it.
Gk: he was boss then you are boss now!
Rd : im always the boss.
Gk: I need to do an interview with both of you toghter.
Okay next question ever get scolded by the coach or captain ?
Rd:Coach? a few times for hitting ball above the ground.captain not really. I played under Sachin for few year in  and then till 2005 its Sourav in all formats. we used to argue a lot but not really get scolded. After that I played under Anil and Mahi.... But I need to run lapses for three hour straight on my first day practice before my debut match. because I couldn't recognise the captain .
Gk: and that captain was ... Sourav ganguly.
Rahul noded.
Gk:If im connecting the dots right that's how you picked on an injuery which leads to delay your debut .(Rahul just smiles)
Gk:That's where it all started right.
How do you two met? Like in the team for first time
Rd: no we go way back, before that . I remember seeing him for the first time in ranjy trophy final 1990 , I can be wrong About the year but it was Karnataka vs Bengal . there team own and he scores a total 580 or something in that tournament and got a 80 and some wickets against us .he was named the man of match.he was already a big name then in the under nineteen circle.
Gk: then how you cannot recognise him on field ?
rd: there are two reasons
Gk : oh you are full on diffending mode!
Rd: I need to said it somewhere because sourav tell the story somewhere and he made it sound like I was some prick with attitude .
The first reason
Because sachin was actually the captain then ,but was rulled out due to toe injury and sourav was made the stand in captain Which literally I have no idea about .we don't have tv then used to saw the names and photos on news papers and he look hell alot different in real life .
And second
he made his debut in 92 and I came into international after six years of that ranji final. We never really see each other much afterwards. He was almost a blur memory to me.that day when he came to the ground ,it was in the night near 9:30 or something. I was tired to my bones, so I just can not . its hard to belive but its true. I actually cannot recognize him .
gk: I belive you.
was it love at first site for you too? Because dada told me his story of seeing you for the first time and that is a different story altogether?
Rd :really? what did he say?
Gk: he said ki he saw you play for Karnataka under fifteen groups where you scores a century he wasn't playing the game because he just turned sixteen the day before the game . and form that day you somehow stuck in his mind . and it was maybe love at first site for him.
Rd: really? I have no idea about this !!! he never told me anything about this.
Gk: okay! thats interesting .if you two fought after this interview please don't mention my name. its gourav by the way.haha.
now Next question, your first crush?
Rd: crush?
Gk: common Rahul you are not that old , you know crush . you have been one to many . you used to be mine too.
rd: what ? really?
Gk:yess! And to many others too..
Now common think about it . someone from school? Or The guy who brings you flowers and chocolates after a good match?
Rd: those were a lot actually. but I didn't like them back.
Gk: so your answer? You can say Sourav you know(gourav said side eyeing him)
Rd: no! not a chance.(Rahul turns visibaly red) .(think about it more then say)maybe sir Don Bradman.
Gk: don bradman ? really what about steve Waugh ?
Rahul : well not gonna lie , I do like him but more like an idol way than a crush way you know ....
Gk: that's a lie but okay.(Rahul just laughs loudly at that)
Gk: something I do realise while talking to you ki you are so old school type as a person . I mean you were pretty serious and intense back then too. So maybe be you rejected dada a few times ?no? I mean what was the story?
how every thing begins. . how did dada manage to get to you ?
Rd : well he is still trying to get me (hahahahha).i was pretty focused back then its true.i actually don't remember rejecting him.... Is it one of your interview questions?
Gk:no no no, its just ,none of us really know about the real story. There is alot of rumors so needs some fact check s as well. And you two are like this iconic power couple thing in the country. Its just curiosity you know.. so can we talk about it ?
Rd: yeah sure .
Gk: who proposed first ? Who confessed there fellings first?
