As they walked towards the house, Yuri's nerves grew. She had never met Jimin's parents before, and she wasn't sure what to expect. Jimin squeezed her hand reassuringly, sensing her tension.
"Don't worry, babe. They'll love you," he whispered.
Yuri smiled weakly, feeling a bit better. When they entered the house, Jimin's parents greeted them warmly. His mother, a elegant woman with a kind smile, hugged Yuri tightly.
"Welcome, dear. We've heard so much about you," she said.
Jimin's father, a tall, imposing figure with a gentle face, shook Yuri's hand firmly. "Nice to meet you, Yuri. We're glad you could come."
Yuri felt a bit overwhelmed but tried to compose herself. Jimin led her to the living room, where they sat down for a cozy dinner.
As they sat down for dinner, Yuri tried to impress Jimin's parents with her table manners. However, things quickly took a turn when she accidentally knocked over a glass of juice, spilling it all over the tablecloth and her lap.
Jimin's mother rushed to help, while his father burst out laughing. "Well, I guess that breaks the ice!" he chuckled.
Jimin grinned mischievously. "Yeah, Yuri's always been a little clumsy."
Yuri's face turned bright red as she tried to clean up the mess. "It's not my fault! The glass was slippery!"
Jimin's mother patted her hand. "Don't worry, dear. We've had our fair share of accidents too."
Just then, Jimin's father stood up, holding his stomach. "You know, I think I need to show you something." He led them to a photo album, filled with pictures of Jimin as a child, covered in mud, paint, and various other messy substances.
Yuri giggled. "I think I see where I get my clumsiness from!"
Jimin rolled his eyes good-naturedly. "Hey, I was just creative."
Yuri couldn't help but notice the warm and cozy atmosphere of the house. Jimin's parents were easy to talk to, and they asked her questions about her interests and hobbies. Yuri found herself feeling more at ease, laughing and chatting with them like she had known them for years. As the dinner progressed, Jimin's mother turned to Yuri and said, "You know, we've always wanted Jimin to find someone special. And we can see that he's really happy with you."
Yuri's heart fluttered at the comment, and she glanced at Jimin, who was smiling at her with affection.
They finished dinner,
Jimin's parents smiled at Yuri and Jimin. "We're so glad you're together," they said, beaming with happiness. "You two are meant to be."
Jimin's father cleared his throat, a sly grin spreading across his face. "Actually, we've been thinking... why don't you two get married?"
Yuri's eyes widened in surprise, and Jimin's face lit up with excitement.
Jimin's mother nodded enthusiastically. "Yes, we'd love to have Yuri as our daughter-in-law! We can already see how happy she makes Jimin."
Jimin took Yuri's hand, his eyes shining with love. "What do you say, Yuri? Will you marry me?"
Tears of joy filled Yuri's eyes as she nodded eagerly. "Yes, yes, a million times yes!"
Jimin's parents cheered, and the four of them shared a warm, tearful hug.
"We'll start planning the wedding tomorrow!" Jimin's mother exclaimed.
And with that, Yuri and Jimin's future was sealed, surrounded by the love and support of their family.
