Humming quietly under his breath, Jeongguk glances over his shoulder to peer back at the Wall. The first sliver of sadness creeps into his heart. Behind the dome is the life that the always led, the life of his mother and brother, but he knows he can't stay. He can't go back.
There is nothing for him on that side of the Wall, so with a sad smile and a tip of his head, he whispers a solemn apology to his mother who will never know the truth about her son.
Exhaling slowly, he opens his eyes to stare forwards, his head held eye and trailing after the fluttering black wings of his new life.

Hello everyone! Moonie here.
Do I have an excuse for this? No. To tell you the truth, I have a lot of books written. Like ten. More, if I count the stuff I pretend I never wrote. We don't talk about it. Moving on!
Most of them are 80% completed and getting fully refurbished for official publishing as I am a published author. This is one of the stories I want opinions on if it's worth publishing outside of you wonderful, stellar readers. Like I said, it's about 80% completed and going through editing, so if you notice something, shout at me. I promise I am trying.
Second, I am having cover issues. If anyone has read my book Evening of Sparks on here, it's actually a four book series on Amazon that I published. However, book 2 and 3 aren't published yet due to being unable to find a cover artist. It's why I haven't updated it yet on here because I'm stressed about that.
So, if anyone is an artist, knows an artist, OR has any ideas how the cover should look... I beg you. I PLEAD with you. Reach out. Talk to me. I'm desperate. I will write you a short story of whatever you want in payment. 10,000 words of whatever ship, whatever writing you want. Literally ANYTHING. Spice included.

If anyone has read my books, then you get my writing. I talk about a lot of heavy topics. I write from the heart and I stand by that, but sometimes the heart is heavy and it takes more than one pair of hands to cradle it. That's life.

I am aware that suicide is a heavy topic. I understand. I am not intending to glorify it or anything else. I am writing a story of a character and everything I write, I do with passion, compassion, and kindness. Please do not DM me about it. If you don't like it, don't read it. I love every single one of my readers and read every single comment. It takes a lot to offend me as I have been writing for a very long time.
I write what I feel needs to be said, no matter how painful it is to hear. I am a writer after all. What's that quote?
