“How is she?” I asked with a tremor in my voice. “Is she alright?” I've had this question since I got the call from the doctor telling me she woke up.
“Her health condition is stable at the moment. She is waiting for you.” I walked in the door and saw her honey eyes glistening in the sunlight streaming in through the window. It was her. She was alive. She was awake.
“Sabrina! I whispered. I’m sorry for everything. I'm sorry for leaving you. I can't imagine a life without you. I should have been there for you, but I left you like the bastard that I am.”
“Everything is alright. I’m glad that you came. I forgive you for everything.” She stroked my hair in a way that drives me crazy. “I'm proud of you. I'm proud of everything you do.”
“I promise you that I’m going to find him and make him to pay for all he have done.”
“That is not important right not. It’s important that we are going to start a new life together. I’m going to go to Hardvard and you are going to solve cases. After that we are going to create a family and live a beautiful live.”
“But you said that you don’t want a planned life. You said you wanted everything to be unpredictable.”
“I wanted. But right now I want to be with you.” She kissed me and I was the happiest man on the planet.
Suddenly there was the long sound of the device monitoring her pulse. Everything stopped in a second.
“Sabrina? Doctor! SOMEONE CALL THE DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY!”
