It was now 4 p.m. Isabelle and Yvonne were in the car, on their way to the place where they would enjoy some time and go skating. When they arrived, Isabelle's excitement bloomed, as this activity reminded her of treasured moments spent with her family in the past.

As they approached the counter, Isabelle and Yvonne proceeded to rent ice skates. Isabelle picked a pair of white skates, while Yvonne opted for black ones.

Yvonne suddenly inquired, "Do you know how to ice skate?" Isabelle couldn't help but smirk, a twinkle in her eye as she quipped, "Oh honey, you bet I do!"

Yvonne chuckled and teased, "Looks like we've got a competitive spirit here!" Isabelle then challenged, "How about a race?"

"Oh no, no races for me," Yvonne replied with a smile. "I prefer some laid-back ice skating, not racing. Let's head out, shall we?"

The chill in the air was palpable as Isabelle and Yvonne ventured onto the ice rink, their coats offering some shelter from the cold.

They glided effortlessly around the rink, skating at a relaxed pace. Isabelle couldn't resist asking, "So, just how good are you at skating?"

Yvonne laughed softly, replying, "You really weren't going to let yourself down, were you?"

Isabelle pressed, a gleam of determination in her eyes, "Well, you know I'm competitive, and I don't see anything wrong with a race. Alright, how about a chill race? No need to go overboard."

Yvonne chuckled at Isabelle's determination, teasing, "You're quite stubborn, you know that?" Agreeing to the "chill" race, the two set off, gliding carefully across the rink, mindful of the other skaters. Isabelle was surprised to find Yvonne keeping up, their friendly race closing with Yvonne emerging victorious.

Isabelle praised, "You're really fast, Yvonne!"

Yvonne winked and teased, "I warned you, dear. I'm just as competitive as you are. It's not just a one-person show here."

As Isabelle and Yvonne continued their skating, an accidental collision occurred. Someone accidentally bumped into Isabelle's backside, causing her to lose balance and fall. In a reflexive moment, Isabelle grasped Yvonne's hand, accidentally bringing them both down. Yvonne landed on top of Isabelle, leaving her momentarily stunned.

Caught up in the rush, adrenaline coursing through her, Isabelle felt no pain. Yvonne swiftly realized the situation and asked frantically, "Oh my goodness, are you alright, dear?" Yvonne quickly stood, reaching out a hand to help Isabelle up.

Isabelle muttered, "Yvonne, my head..." as a wave of pain washed over her. People nearby began staring at the scene unfolding. Yvonne immediately moved to hold Isabelle's head, realizing the source of the pain. Indeed, a trickle of blood revealed that the collision had caused an injury.

Despite the chaotic situation, Yvonne remained composed. She was a doctor after all. The apologetic voice of the girl who had accidentally caused the mishap filled the air. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry," she repeated anxiously.

Isabelle was taken aback at the sight of her bloodied hand. "Yvonne, what's happening?" she said in confusion. Yvonne reassured her, "Don't move, I'll get assistance to take you to my car."

After a brief moment, two willing men offered their support. Yvonne carefully instructed them on how to properly handle Isabelle.

Isabelle sat in the car, with a temporary cloth held against her head to stop the bleeding. The journey to the nearby hospital was mercifully brief, as it turned out to be the same facility where Yvonne worked.
