I am black
I am black and I love that about me. Nothing will make me want to change myself because, in the deepest of colors, you find beauty in the rarest form.
From my black silk skin to my huge afro hair down to my well-gaped teeth.
I am black and that is my identity, my calling, and nothing pleases me more. My struggle is my molding and the world can't shape it.
I shape the world.
I can't be defined, some see me as fragile, and some as a person holding fake hope but their opinions don't matter.
It doesn't matter, not now, not then, and not ever
I am unique.
I am beautiful.
I am black.
