Location: Security

Time: Round Three

Like she had been trying to say before the lights were cut, refueling the engines was Leafy's final task. The pair (okay, fine, it was pretty much entirely Leafy) made quick work of this, after which Leafy inquired as to what Pin's remaining tasks were. Pin, quite cleverly (she assures you), brushed the question off and instead recommended stopping by Security first to check the cameras. It was getting pretty down to the wire, and she wasn't confident the Crew would be able to win by completing their tasks in time.

And so there they were, watching the cameras together. The main highlight was currently the top-left screen, the one corresponding to the hallway just outside of Navigation. Ice Cube and Naily were having some sort of conversation, though what exactly was being said was unclear due to the cameras not being able to capture sound. Ice Cube had entered and immediately exited the vent there a few times during their talk, however, so perhaps she was trying to convince Naily she really was the Engineer.

Pin could hear footsteps approaching, and sure enough, on the bottom-right camera - the one pointed just outside of the room the pair were in - she saw Bomby and Nickel make a left turn into Reactor. She did a quick mental calculation in her head: five bodies, plus two ejections, plus these two pairs on the cameras, plus her and Leafy... so all that left was-

"I know what you are, Pin."

What.

"It's been really obvious this entire game, Pin."

Leafy knew she was an Impostor?!

"You're not very good at keeping secrets, you know."

But she had played out of her mind! Okay, maybe her act was a bit sloppy at points, but surely it couldn't have been that transparent!

"Leafy, I swear! This-this is just a big misunderstanding! I'm not an Impos-"

"I know you like girls, Pin."

What.

"What."

"Oh, come on! You've been dripping ooze the entire time you've been with me. I could see you scooting closer to me while we were watching the cameras. You were ogling me all over when I was carrying that gas can. You have a crush on me~!"

Oh, okay then. So it wasn't the end of the world. It was the end of the universe.

"And you know what?" the lemon leaf rhetorically asked as she pressed Pin's back into the security console. "Maybe I like girls, too~."

Despite facing the camera screens, there was no way Leafy could have seen it. Pin definitely could have; had she not had her back to the screens (and had she not been *cough* preoccupied), she would have seen a (to her) transparent figure slowly encroaching on the entrance to Security.

Though she definitely saw the cloud of black smoke that plumed from just behind Leafy.

And she definitely heard the crack of the lemon leaf's neck twisting the wrong way too fast.

And she definitely saw the face of the other remaining Impostor, looking rather disdainfully at her.

"Pin."

"LIY, WHAT THE HELL!?"

Liy, the Phantom, seemed almost dismissive with her response. "Oh, quit whining. It was gonna happen eventually."

"You could have gone for anyone else! Why would-"

"Because, Pin, while you have been palling around with Leafy this entire game, I've had to pick up the slack for both you and Book. In fact, you've made the same amount of kills as Book had, and she got out round one!

"And besides, everyone else has paired up. I couldn't do anything else without being seen."

"But you're the Phantom, you could just turn invisible and-"

"You can't kill while you're invisible, dump-ass."

"... Well, I'm still mad anyway," Pin sulked, punctuating the remark by sticking her tongue out at the light switch.

Liy paused for a moment. Rash words like these would not get through to her fellow Impostor. Time for another approach.

"Oh, come on, Pin. I know you're not the type to quit while you're ahead. You're a winner. We only need two more kills to win, and Bomby and Nickel are just across the hall. One quick double kill, and it'll all be worth it. You can be a winner."

Well, Pin certainly did like to win, especially when it came to video games. Getting the game over with also meant that she could see Leafy again sooner...

"Alright, fine. Let's go, Liy."

"I'm glad I could make you see reason."

"Don't push it."

Nickel loved playing games with his friends. It was so nice seeing everyone get together to do something fun! Like tasks! Tasks were fun. He and Bomby had come into Reactor to do some of their tasks; Bomby had to clean out the vent on the south side of the room, while Nickel had to play this Simon Says-like game with the machine. It had taken him a bit, but he finally memorized the right order!

"Alright! I did it! Hey, Bomby, how's that vent cleaning going?" Nickel asked, turning to the left to see his pal.

Except Bomby wasn't there.

Well, that wasn't quite true. The lower half of Bomby was there, and Pin was standing over it.

"Oh, my apologies. Did I interrupt something?"

As he instinctively turned to the room's exit to try to run for help, Nickel was frozen in place once more. The light from the reactor now behind him perfectly illuminated both Liy and the pistol pointed at his head.

"Sorry, Nick. It's not personal."

The sound of gunpowder igniting filled the air.
