You were preparing to leave your work at the hospital and you were greeted by one of your nurses.
"Doctor Y/l/n, your wife is waiting for you at the lobby." The nurse, smiled at you.
You nodded and but before you left you were stopped by your fellow colleague, Kim Jiwon, who was monitoring your health.
"Are you going to tell... Wonyoung soon?" She asked you.
You shook your head no.
"In time, my friend. Right now, I just want to spend as much time with her as possible. We can only do so much to prolong the inevitable." You said and he nodded at you.
"Go. Spend time with your wife." She smiled at you and you nodded.
You got out of the office and saw Wonyoung fell asleep in the lobby.
"Wonyoung..." You placed your hand on her shoulder and she finally woke up.
"B-Baby..." She rubbed her eyes, and smiled at you. She fixed your collar and smiled. "How was work, my love?"
"It's been a good day today. But you always worry me that you stay here sometimes a few hours before my shift closes." You said to Wonyoung.
"I know... but I always want to come home with you." She smiled.
You nodded and kissed her forehead. "Let's go?"
"Mhm. Should we get dinner on the way home?" She offered.
"What do you have in mind?"
"I'm okay with anything, my love." Wonyoung smiled at you and she finally stood up.
You held hands with Wonyoung and exited the hospital for the day.
