"Bitch and he taking you to get whatever you want? On god this a date" Jaylee said laying across nasiya bed as nasiya curled her lashes sitting at her vanity.
"This more like a business proposal though for real. He just wanna talk money" the girl laughed back as Jaylee made a face at her shaking her head no. "He on your bodyyyy" She dragged on making nasiya laugh.
Jaylee had got into it with her parents real bad and opted to staying with her for a couple days. Nasiya never cared though, she loved the company. Plus Alaiya had been spending time with dougie since they were lacking quality time.
"They look like sisters or cousins?" Nasiya asked referring to her eyebrows as jaylee got close to her looking at them observing closely. "They sisters, same mama and daddy too" She said hyping her up as nasiya stuck her tongue out doing a little dance.
She continued to get ready, while she pampered her face with light makeup she swore all she could hear in the back of her head was jeremiah's voice.
His cursing.
His degrading.
His insults.
Jaylee could read the room easily and she knew her friend like the back of her hand and watched as she stared into the distance no longer singing the sza that previously had her feeling as though it was karaoke night.
She walked up to her placing her hands on her shoulders snapping her out her thoughts as she met Jaylee's eyes once more in the vanity mirror tears prickling at her lash line.
Jaylee held her finger under her eye slightly rubbing her back as she scooted over her prescription meds seeing it was time for one.
"Don't let him determine your future Nasiya.." She said softly as nasiya sighed and nodded to her self unscrewing the cap from the medicine bottle.
