4. Let me take you somewhere, princess.

It was second week when I was working in Lewandowski's house. Gavi was there a couple more time, but I successfully ignored him. At least until today. He came here just like that when I was alone at home with girls. That was the strangest thing I've experienced since I came back to Barcelona.

- But seriously. Can you tell me what are you doing here? I know you're not waiting for Robert because he'll be late today.

- You lied to me.

- What?

I felt like blood is coming out of my body. He knows? It took him a while, but still. No, there's no way he knows.

- We've met each other. You were at the game.

- What game? My whole family is a big fan of Barcelona, and my parents are friends with Xavi, so I'm almost at every home game.

- Fermin waved to you. He told me you're his friend, but I don't buy it, so who are you?

I didn't expect him to be here today, and I also didn't expect a question like that.

- I'm his friend. He told you the truth.

- Seriously? I'm pretty sure you're lying, princess. You just came here out of nowhere, you're on every home game, and suddenly you work at Lewandowski's house. It's a little weird, don't you think?

Princess? What a stupid nickname.

- I'm not lying. I knew him when we were kids, and I have to move out. I just came back. And about the job, he helped me, because I was looking for it. I think it's weird that you're coming here when your friend is not there.

I can't tell he didn't piss me off. He's the one who doesn't remember me, even when he knows my name, and the fact I know Fermin.

- You just came here? Where were you living before?

- Italy.

I looked at his face. If he's smart like he was as a child, he can connect the dots. I don't really want him to do that, it's better how it is. His face flicked with confusion, but he quickly covered it.

- So, will you tell me now, why are you here?

- I came to play with girls.

- No, you don't?

Lewandowski's daughters were playing in the garden when I was talking with him. Of course, I was watching them all the time, but when they realised that Gavi is here, they run towards him. He hugged them both.

- Andyyy, pleaseeee. Can Pablo play with us?

They made puppy eyes and I couldn't say no. I nodded and Gavi has a big winning smile on his face.

- So what are we playing?

Klara looked at Gavi like she had already planned everything. He gave her agreement smile, and I knew it wasn't good.

- We're going to play football, princess. And I'll be in the team with Klara.

Yeah, totally. He's a world-class footballer, and I'm supposed to play against him. Of course, we'll have the same chances to win. I'm a little glad now he and Fermin taught me to play football when we were kids. But only a little.

- But I want to be with you too.

I looked at Laura, and then I looked at Gavi. His smile was even bigger now. I rolled my eyes. She knew we would lose.

- You'll be with me for the first round, and then we'll change squads, okay?

- Okay.

We started playing. We could start, but Laura lost the ball pretty quickly. Klara has the ball, but I didn't want to take it away from her. She's still a child, and she doesn't have chances with me. So when she passed the ball to Gavi, I decided to give it a shot. I run to him and tried to take the ball. He started doing all off these tricks, but he didn't know one thing. I know him. And I know he still uses the same ticks as we were kids. No long after, the ball was mine and I scored.

After a while we ended our little game. Laura and I won, and I have to admit that Gavi's face was a nice thing to watch.

The girls were pretty tired, so we didn't play the next round. We came back home and I made a smoothie. Not long after that Robert came back home, and I was free to go.

- Do you need a ride? - he asked me.

- No, thank you.

- Okay, come back home save and see you tomorrow.

I say goodbye to him and girls and left the house. I put my headphones on and after a while I realised I wasn't alone.

- Seriously? What do you want?

- Let me take you somewhere, princess.

- Stop using this nickname.

- Why should I? I think it suits you.

I decided to ignore him, he was really getting on my nerves. He wasn't like that as a child. Unfortunately, he was still going next to me.

- Why should I go with you?

- Because I want to know you. Let's say you impressed me.

- You have 30 minutes.

We were walking in silence, but it wasn't uncomfortable. I have to admit, I was curious where he's going to take me. We were going the same way as I'm going to my house.

- We're here.

I looked around. We were at the playground. This playground.

- Why did you take me to the playground?

We sat on the swings.

- I like this place. I used to come here with Fermin.

And me. You came here with me. I show you this place.

That hurts a little. He didn't say anything about me.

- So it has a story?

- Yeah. How do you know how to play football? When we were playing- I felt like you know all of my steps.

Maybe I should tell him. Maybe it's time? " I knew all your steps because you teach me that. I know you, Gavi." No, I can't.

- I used to play with Fermin and my old friend when I was a little. That's all.

- So you're not a stalker that analyse my every move after the game?

I chuckled a little. It was funny.

- No, I'm not.

He gave me this smile that looked like when we were kids.

We talk for a little while and I decided to came back home. He suggested that he should walk me to my house, but I immediately disagreed. I live in the same house as I used to. Maybe he doesn't recognise me, but the house? And what if my mum sees him?

We said goodbye and I came back home. I entered the house and it was really quiet in there which was weird.

- Mum, I'm home!

- Your mum is not here, Bella. You think you would run away from me? Not this time.

And it was the end of my quiet, peaceful life.
