Dani's pov:

Clem and I are sitting in a café, eating a late lunch and talking about the tour.

"It was so funny the way Marcus never got to finish a game of FIFA, 'cause you always took the controller from him!" Clem laughs.

"Yeah, I already miss it. Maybe I should play a game with him some day, when I get back." I say with a laugh.

"Yeah, you should." He says.

I'm about to say something, when I hear my phone make a sound. I take it up and unlock it. My dad sent me a message and a video.

From Dad:

'I recorded this yesterday, thought you'd like it X'

Video attached

I click on the video. It's Emma, Clem and I singing on the sofa yesterday. I can't help but light up with a big smile.

From me:

'Thank you, dad. Love it x'

"What is it?" Clem asks. I hand him the phone. As he sees the video, he lights up in a smile too.

"Can you send it to me?" He asks.

"Sure. Would it be okay if I post it on Insta?" I ask, as I take back my phone.

"Yeah, of course. Make sure to tag me." He says.

"I will." I say. I click on the insta logo to post the video. I put 'Everything I'll ever need <3' in the caption, before I hit post. Before I put my phone back in my pocket, I get a notification that Tommy liked the video. I get a sting feeling in my chest, but I can't help but smile a bit too. I put my phone down and turned my attention back to Clem.

"How long before you fly?" I ask. He looks at his watch, before looking at me.

"4 hours. How far is it from here?" He asks.

"20 minutes with the metro, so we have some time to see a little more of Copenhagen, if you want?" I suggest.

"Sounds great." He says. We pay and leave the café.

In the airport:

We step onto the airport building. I feel a wave of sadness hit me.

"Are you sure I shouldn't stay a little longer?" He asks.

"Yes, you have your meetings. You're about to get signed, you need to go back." I say.

"Yeah, but I can attend them virtually. Sam already said it's fine." He says.

"You should be there in person, Clem. I appreciate you being here and wanting to stay here with me, but I can't keep you here, especially not when you have such important things going on." I say.

"Do you promise to call me if anything happens, then? Or if your head goes wild? Or if you just need someone to talk to?" He asks, looking at me, with a serious expression.

"For the hundredth time: Yes, I promise I'll call you." I say.

"And you are sure I shouldn't stay 'till Emma's out of surgery and is okay? Then we can go back together. I can call Sam and talk to him." He asks.

"Clem, it's okay. I promise. You have a life too. I know you feel like you need to be there and protect me and make up for the years you couldn't, but you don't have to. I'll be okay and I'll call you when I need someone to talk to, okay?" I say.

"I know, I just..." He starts, but I cut him off.

"If you ask one more time if you should stay, I'll personally drag you onto that flight and tie you to the chair. You have to go back and be there for these meetings. I'll be okay. I have to stay 'till Emma is okay. When she is, I'll be on the first flight to London and I'll call you so you can come and pick me up, okay?" I say.
