Many details in this story are for fictional purposes. I have done my best to keep every driver's personality relatively identical to their real-life personalities. However, for the sake of this story, I have made a handful of changes, including some skill levels certain drivers possess, their 2024-season results, keeping the same race calendar for "2025" and most of all, the events happening during this current season. Please bear with me as many details and events may not be completely realistic, but that's what fan fictions are for!!

While English is my first language, I can safely say that my Italian is not nearly as strong (let alone Sicilian), however, it is a pretty important detail in my story. I will provide in-line translations, and if you are fluent in Italian or Sicilian or any other language used in this story, I apologize for anything I may butcher and I am open to all corrections and critiques. Google Translate will be my best friend in the development of my character and her first language, and the first language of many other characters in this story.
There is a lot of mature and sensitive content in this book. I don't recommend reading if you are under 16 or going to be immature about it. The main focus of the book is centered around mental health and how different people handle different situations. It's just as hard to write as it is to read, so please continue with that in mind!
I love Formula 1, but I do not have all knowledge of the sport. As much as I wish I knew every little detail about it, I don't, so bear with me as some details may be incorrect.
Last but certainly not least, I love me a good picture book. I don't plan to throw in a ton of pictures, but I definitely have some that can capture the essence of a moment and give an extra depiction to go with the description. Who doesn't love a good photo of Lando?
