The rest of the school was a blur. I was currently sitting in my black Volvo XCR 90 with my head on the steering wheel. I had managed to stay away from Jax and Ethan for the rest of the day. I felt horrible avoiding Ethan, but what was I supposed to say to the boy I caused to go down a rocky pathway. If you asked me six months ago, I would have pleaded my love for Ethan, and know exactly what I was going to do with my life.

Now, I had pulled my car over above the the Milligian Bridge, under the trees, and walked underneath to the water's edge. I was crying my eyes out, trying not to find a sharp object to hurt myself nor have a panic attack. The meeting with my therapist was at five and I had exactly forty-five minutes to get there.

The day had not been terrible, but it could have went better. I felt as if everyone was walking on eggshells around me. After taking 10 deep breathes, I started fixing my makeup in my compact mirror that I had placed in my purse. No one came down under the bridge until around 11:00 p.m. anyways. Milligian bridge was known for it's drugs and street fights, but strangely everyone was scared to come in the daylight. Maybe because the police had free range in the day or that in the night, everything was a lot more mysterious.

I found shelter in the day under the bridge however. The county lake had a shore that went for a few miles and trees taller than skyscrapers to hide between. The best thing about Milligian bridge was that no one cared about social status. Yes, you did not see the rich kids here on the daily, but all teenage boys and young adults came here at one point or another. I was most likely the only girl of my stature that came to this place. However, during the summer I came at night, only to hide about a mile away on the water's edge. I was farther enough to not be seen, but close enough to still hear the noise. I only came to the main arena in the day. I was risking seeing someone this close in the afternoon, and especially after the first day of school.

Milligian bridge however, had been my safe haven for a couple months now. If my family knew I had been here, I would be skinned alive. Like I previously states, drugs, betting, and fighting came from here. Nothing good has ever come from Milligian bridge.

"Tommy boy, what the hell happen today?" I heard a deep voice rang out coming from above the bridge. I heard rustling and rocks rolling down the hill and big, object being rolled down the rocking pathway like a sack of potatoes. I jumped up quickly and ran to the wooded tree line and squatted down the base of tree with my back pressed against the bark.

"Jax, I swear I didn't know I was being followed. Benji came outta nowhere, I swear, I'd never lie to to Jax," the now smaller object cried out still on the ground.

I silently looked back at the open piece of land to see Jax and his right hand man, Owen, and a guy I had not recognized before with a beat up Thomas Mills, one of Jax's runners.

"Simple question, are you a rat?" Jax asked quietly, drawing his gun.

My breathing stopped. I was frozen in time. Jax would not kill Thomas would he? The gun was just a ploy to scare him, right?

Jax cocked the gun back, "Tell me what they want Tommy. Why are you here?"

Thomas stopped moving, Jax's minion pushed Thomas's shoulders up and placed him kneeling in front of Jax.

"Thomas Mills, you've been accused of being a scout for the newly organized gang of the Weston's, do you have anything to say for yourself," Owen stated.

"They want the girl okay!"

Jax grabbed him by the collar and pushed him up, "What about her?"

"Ethan came by a couple months ago and bought a bunch of stuff offa Junior okay. He said that he would pay us back, but we are new okay and don't have the man power. Ethan was like a ghost this year man, so Junior needed someone to do recon and that was me. I was suppose to enroll at the end of the year and find out how Ethan spends his time. Then that girl's dad shot her and the planned turned to shit. I was then just suppose to sit back and watch her until I could get her, but then the spot with you opened and Ethan started using from you and I panicked okay. Please just don't do this Jax. I'm loyal to you."
