I groaned, rubbing my eyes as I shifted in my bed. a grumbled escaped my mouth as I slowly sit up in bed, my hair was a mess, dark bags under my eyes and my lips were...chappy, as per usual. I grunted, hopping off of my bed, stretching my arms out in the air as a I yawned. "another day, another boring day at life..." I sighed, unplugging my alarm, dropping the cord on the floor with a small 'thud' sound. 

I scratched the side of my neck as I walked down stairs, yawning as I was greeted by my 'parents'. "mother, father. good morning." I spoke out flatly, only for the two of them to look at me, I tensed up a bit at their gaze. I felt the judgement in their eyes, it made me feel small under their presence. they had always treated me as if i wasn't family. it was their choice to adopt me when they saw me on the sidewalk or wherever they did se me. it makes me feel..as if I am not here. though, I snapped out of my thoughts when my 'mother' had spoke up.

"you are going gravity Falls with your cousins, remember? for their birthday?" ah yes. I forgot about that. though, i wasn't really related to them, no, I was adopted. I haven't communicated with the twins much, but know is my chance to get to know some 'family'. I nodded, not asking any questions and just headed upstairs to pack up clothes and other things for the summer. I wonder how long I'm gonna be there for? what's gonna happen? and why am I asking questions like I've never been to gravity falls before? eh, we'll never know.

i tapped my foot impatiently, waiting for the bus to arrive. a small huff came out of mouth as i pulled my phone out of my pocket, looking at the (f/c) case and the (your shape choice) keychain. you shook your phone a bit, watching the keychain jangle with curiosity. i perked up at the sound of...well a bus. i shoved my phone in my pocket, looking back at my house before sighing, hoping on the bus. as i took my seat, the smell of sweat, perfume and...baby power? yep, that sounds like a public bus to me. i leaned against the window, the vibrations of the bus taking of making body body shake ever so slightly. i frowned, jeez, my parents didn't even wave goodbye...or say goodbye. some parents they are.

welp, it was time to pop in my headphones and blast some music on full volume. i reached into my bag, grabbed my headphones and well..yeah, you get the idea. halfway through the ride, i had drifted off to sleep, not the best nap i've had....and, after a long, bumpy and smelling ride, i was finally here...Gravity Falls.

i looked out the window as we came to a stop, my smiled widened a bit as i saw Maso- Dipper and Mabel, along side with some..big guy with a question mark for a shirt. i giggled, grabbing my things as i ran out of the bus. "Dips! Mabel Syrup!" i laughed, dropping my suitcases as i ran over to the two twelve year old's, bringing them into a tight hug. "hah! Y/N! it's so good to see you again!" Dipper exclaimed, choking a bit as i hugged him, though, Mabel returned the tight hug i was giving them. "I can't wait to tell you what's been going on!" Mabel giggled, bouncing in place in excitement. i released the two, Dipper began gasping for air, while Mabel was still jumping in place.

my gaze went up to the fat guy, i intently examined his appearance, seems like a nice guy. "h-hi there! nice to meet you, I'm..Y/n!" i held out my hand for him to take, only to be met with...a hug? "oh dudes! we've heard so much about you!" he exclaimed- wait, we've? the man had pulled away before finally taking my hand in his and shaking it. "i'm Soos, the greatest friend of these two dudes!" i chuckled, slowly letting go of his hand before nodding with a sincere smile on my face.
